Find a quiet and comfortable place to relax,

Either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep,

Cleansing breath in through your nose.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to become more present,

More grounded in the here and now.

As you settle into the space,

Bring your awareness to your emotions.

Pregnancy can be an emotional whirlwind.

With moments of joy,

Excitement,

Fear,

Frustration,

Or even sadness.

These emotions may come and go quickly,

Leaving you feeling overwhelmed or unsure.

Take a moment to acknowledge that whatever you're feeling is completely valid.

You are experiencing the full spectrum of human emotion,

And each feeling has a place in your journey.

Breathe in deeply,

And as you exhale,

Imagine releasing any judgment or resistance to these emotions.

Rather than pushing them away or trying to control them,

Allow them to be here.

Your emotions are not permanent,

They are simply passing waves in the ocean of your experience.

Take a moment to identify any specific emotions you may be feeling right now.

Maybe there's excitement or joy about your growing baby.

Maybe there's fear,

Anxiety,

Or sadness.

Whatever it is,

Simply notice it.

There's no need to fix it,

Change it,

Or even fully understand it.

Just allow it to be.

Now with each breath,

Imagine sending warmth and compassion to whatever emotions are present.

See yourself gently embracing these feelings,

As if you're holding them with love and kindness.

They are a part of you,

And by accepting them,

You allow them to flow freely without holding onto them.

Visualize your emotions as waves in the ocean.

Sometimes gentle and calm,

Other times powerful and overwhelming.

But no wave lasts forever.

Each emotion will pass,

Just like the waves come and go.

You are not defined by any single emotion.

You are the vast expanse of ocean,

Always in motion,

Always changing.

As you sit with these emotions,

Allow them to move through you.

There's no need to rush or force them away.

Simply breathe and be present with them.

Give yourself permission to feel whatever is coming up for you,

Without shame or guilt.

You are allowed to experience it all.

Now let's take a moment to visualize the release of any heavy emotions you may be holding.

Picture them as a cloud drifting away with each and every breath.

As the cloud drifts further,

Feel the lightness and peace that comes from acknowledging and letting go.

The space you create in doing so will make room for new feelings to arise.

Pause here for a moment,

Breathing in peace and breathing out tension or heaviness.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of calm,

Knowing that you are safe in this space and that your emotions will ebb and flow.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing movement into your body.

And when it feels right,

Open your eyes,

Carrying the sense of emotional acceptance and peace with you.

Know that as you continue on your journey through pregnancy,

You will experience many emotions.

Each one is a part of your process,

And in every moment,

You have the power to honour and express those feelings with love and grace.
