This meditation today is the practice of presence through the lens of Tantra.
We sit in our bodies,
We feel our wholeness,
Our connection,
Our lust for life,
When we sit in this embodied approach,
Allowing every feeling to surface,
Every breath to breathe,
Every word to bubble to the surface,
In doing this,
We give ourselves over to the universe,
We allow for a deeper connection,
We are open to receiving what's in our deepest alignment.
Drop into your body,
Make note of the way that it feels,
Don't label it,
Just allow these feelings,
These sensations,
To become real in yourself,
As your eyes close,
Start to imagine what it's like if you could only lead with all your senses,
Excluding sight,
Feel the cool breath in and out your nostrils,
Notice the temperature difference between the inhale and the exhale,
Allow this recognition to slow down your heart rate,
So you can simply notice the spaces in between the breath,
The spaces in between the words,
With eyes still closed,
Allow yourself now to drink in the air,
With a rounded mouth,
Feel the coolness of the breath,
Feel the body tingle,
Acknowledging that it's alive and real,
You life force through your veins,
Drink in the coolness of the air,
With a rounded mouth,
Perhaps you have a water or a coffee next to you,
With eyes still closed,
Begin sipping in the drink,
As you swallow it,
Feel it go down your throat,
All the way into your stomach,
Become fully and completely aware of your insides,
Become fully and completely aware of your anatomy,
If you are sitting on a chair,
On a mat,
Or the floor,
Begin to stroke the texture beneath you,
Feel the fabric between your fingertips,
Notice the way it your internal landscape,
Perhaps you feel a twinge of happiness,
Comfort,
Or love,
Continue stroking the texture below you,
And perhaps look at this texture in a different light,
Even though it's an inanimate object,
There is life in that piece,
There is realness in the touch,
Bring to your awareness now,
Anything that you hear,
Still with eyes closed,
Listen to the sounds,
Maybe it's the distant echo of a car zooming by,
The gentle sounds of a dog's breath,
The subtle flicker of a candle,
Just fully listen to these sounds,
Placing no judgment on what you hear,
Just allowing it to infiltrate your body,
As you continue to be present,
Let's take this moment a bit deeper,
As you not only reflect on your body,
But you begin to reflect on your soul,
You begin to connect to your spirit,
You begin to recognize this deeper part of you that begs to be seen,
Allow this part of you to emerge,
If you struggle to find it,
Simply notice your body's reaction when you ask to be seen and heard,
Notice what part of your body is stimulated,
Perhaps it vibrates,
Or you feel the need to move,
If it's in your heart,
Or your hands,
Or your stomach,
Just place a gentle touch on that area,
Acknowledging that you feel it,
And you're open to receiving it,
We store these trapped emotions in our bodies,
Our bodies ache to let them go,
So today we listen,
We become so present that we are able to hear the cry,
Become fully immersed in your body's call,
So much so that you forget what physical realm is around you,
You are safe to feel these sensations,
Be present with these sensations,
Unclench your body so that you can go a bit deeper into this present moment,
Connecting to your higher self,
And not necessarily asking it anything,
Just being fully and completely present with it.
Just breathe.
Deep inhales,
Followed by deep exhales.
Deep inhales,
Followed by deeper exhales.
At this point,
It's normal to feel slight pressure in the third eye,
Or even in the crown chakra,
As you become one with this spiritual sensation,
This deep inner knowing,
This interconnectedness that you crave.
Find pleasure in this connectedness.
There's so much desire in this connection.
Let it be held with grace,
With beauty,
And ease.
Allow your awareness to come back to your breath.
As you begin to feel more grounded,
Come back to the space that you're in.
Place your fingertips on the floor below you,
And repeat to yourself,
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am here.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am here.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am here.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I am here.
Gently water your eyes open.
Thank you,
My loves.
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
