In this guided visualization meditation you will connect with the ocean, the rain, and the rivers ... you will also gently run through the meridians of the water element in your body. Frequencies of calm, security, and peace will flow through your holistic system as we move the color of midnight blue through the physical and metaphysical layers. Visualizing can be experienced through any of the senses including thought and not only imagery. Arrive in a comfy position where you can be most relaxed to receive optimum benefit from the experience.

Welcome to this guided meditation for the water element.

If you are not already in a comfortable position,

Please take yourself into one now and simply allow the body to relax and allow the mind to relax.

Slowing the breath,

Calming the nervous system and giving your whole self complete permission to be calm,

To be restful.

Let the muscles become heavy in the body.

Let the facial muscles relax and let the whole body feel as if it's sinking down and up.

Place your attention around the body,

Simply noticing how it feels in front of your body,

Behind,

To the left,

To the right,

Above and below.

Let's take a gentle inhalation and then slowly exhale.

And then slowly exhaling,

Leaving the breath now to flow in its own natural,

Gentle pace.

And if you can take a few moments now to please connect with water.

When you hear of water or think of water,

What is that immediate response that comes to mind?

Now let's connect with the ocean,

With the salty seawater.

Moving your attention now to lakes and rivers.

Just notice how you feel in your body when you connect with them.

And you can connect with them mentally,

Visually,

Sensationally,

Whichever way feels right for you.

Just allow.

Rain,

Connect with rain.

Drinking water.

And now connect with the water inside your body.

Feel the hundreds and thousands of rivers flowing,

Knowing exactly where to go,

Where to go,

Where to go.

Taking the attention now to the point between the eyebrows.

Just noticing all sensations in that area,

Around that area.

Dropping down below the surface of the skin.

And just feeling.

Let's breathe into that area.

Now let's breathe in a deep,

Dark blue color.

And as you breathe in the smooth,

Dark blue,

Just notice how it travels,

Where it travels.

There's no need to control,

Just bringing your attention back to that point between the eyebrows.

Breathing in here once more,

And on the exhalation,

Allow the breath to travel up the midline of the skull,

Towards the crown,

And then down,

Continuing along the midline,

Down the back of the skull.

You pause in the nape of the neck,

And you notice,

And you let go,

As you completely trust that all is as it needs to be.

Breathing in to the back of your neck.

As you exhale,

Allow a river of peace to flow down your spine,

All the way down between the shoulders,

All the way down between the shoulder blades,

Continuing down,

And down,

Until you get to the base of the spine.

And pause here,

Breathing in some more deep midnight blue into the base of your spine,

And as you do so,

Your attention moves to night time in the depth of winter,

When all is quiet,

So is still.

Allow that stillness to wrap around you,

And comfort you,

Feeling completely safe,

And secure.

Let's bring our attention now,

Underneath our feet,

Finding the area between the balls of the feet,

Underneath the left and the right foot,

Drop down below the surface of the skin,

Hmm,

Let's see what's going on here,

What do you notice?

Now let's intentionally breathe into these areas,

Breathing in to the sole of your left foot,

Breathing in to the sole of your right foot,

And once again,

It's you's deep night blue,

Perhaps you feel it,

You sense it,

Perhaps you know it,

Perhaps you see it,

Just allow it to enter into the center of both feet,

Entering from underneath the feet,

And then simply allow this beautiful blue,

To move as it chooses to,

And on your next inhalation,

Intentionally draw that blue up the left leg,

And up the right leg,

All the way up,

Through the knee area,

Through the knee area,

Continuing up through the thigh area,

Through the hip,

And then moving towards the base of the spine,

Allowing these two rivers to meet,

With the other river you know so well,

And just notice what happens,

Let's drop that focus now,

And take our attention around the body,

Noticing the quality here,

And if you can,

Take your attention further,

Away from the body,

Now we're going to intentionally,

Draw in that beautiful,

Deep,

Dark,

Soft,

Velvety,

Nourishing blue,

From the space where your attention is now,

All the way through your metaphysical being,

Into your physical body,

Just allow that to happen with the breath,

Using the in-breath,

To draw that blue towards you,

Bringing it deep into the physical body,

And as you exhale,

Allow it to move through each and every single cell,

Just allow your whole self to,

Accept,

Trust,

And flow,

With this gentle,

Quality,

Of calm,

Serenity,

And allowing your innate wisdom,

To arise from this deep,

Deep stillness,

Dropping all attention now,

Allowing the body and the mind,

To absorb,

Benefits of this peace and calm,

And this quiet love that you have,

Cultivated in this practice,

And as we move this meditation,

To a close,

I would like to end,

With some words from Lao Tzu,

Water is fluid,

Soft and yielding,

But water will wear away rock,

Which is rigid,

And cannot yield,

As a rule,

Whatever is fluid,

Soft and yielding,

Will overcome whatever is rigid,

And hard,

What is soft,

Is strong,

Thank you for joining me,

In this water meditation,

And I wish for you the wisdom,

To maintain your strength,

Through gentleness,

Until we meet again,

Do take care.
