Hey there,

So this is episode 133 and so welcome to Conversations with Hikini podcast.

This podcast is a little different so grab your smoothie or cup of tea and join the conversation.

Let's go.

So where I live we've had quite a few storms.

It'll be sunny for a while and then afternoon storms and lots and lots of rain.

And you know I know we need rain but I'm pretty tired of all these storms and rain and like every afternoon come on I mean do we actually need it that much but I mean usually around this time in July we always have lots of thunderstorms.

So in today's podcast we are going to focus on the body.

A lot of conversation is centered around body image and the body and I was reminded of that just as we gather with different people in our circle and many people we haven't seen in a long time and just a lot of different people that you come in contact with people are just so focused on the body.

If you scroll through Instagram and on TikTok everybody's trying to get the perfect body.

They want to know what can you do,

What can you take to make you know everything okay.

If it's just one little thing I can do then I can be better,

I can feel better,

I can feel more confident,

More happy.

No,

No and no.

A lot of times it takes more than losing weight or gaining weight to move the needle or to you know change something.

You know a lot of times as we've mentioned before that everything is taught isolated.

Everything is isolated.

You may hear some typing in the background because this is a multi-task podcast that I'm doing today.

I'm actually working on something as I am speaking with you here at Conversations with Hikini.

There are some surprises along the way that you will be able to tune into and so with this there's no magic peel,

There's no magic formula.

Everybody wants to teach things isolated and you can't do that.

You cannot teach things isolated.

There is more to your story and everything is connected.

Every life dimension is connected and it's not just about what you eat or if I tweet this I tweet that.

Yeah it it can help.

Yes making some tweets can help but that is not the main thing that actually transform who you are and the way you see yourself.

It's a full circle approach not just the food but also your associations,

How you view yourself,

Everything,

Your mindset.

Your mindset is powerful.

That is a big focus and if you can't do that,

If you keep on downgrading yourself and putting yourself you know saying mean things to yourself or if you continue to compare yourself with other people that isn't showing love to your body.

Who says your body needs to be like the person you see on social media?

Who said that?

There's different ways your body is formed.

There's different shapes,

There's different sizes and one thing that needs to take place needs to happen is learning how to be comfortable and confident in your own skin right now.

Right now if nothing changes can you still love you?

Can you give yourself the love that it needs because what you're doing now it's not working is it?

The negative attention that you're giving yourself right now is not working so you need another plan right?

So I'm going to give you a little tip and this is not an end all but this is something just to get you going.

You can set up a actual consult call to go over a few things but this tip that I want to leave with you I want you to first find out just a little quiet spot okay.

So I want you to take a deep breath and we're gonna do five breaths in and out.

So take a deep breath in hold for three breathe out.

Deep breath in hold for three and breathe out.

Deep breath in hold for three and breathe out.

Just keep going focusing on your breath.

Deep breath in hold for three breathe out.

And one more time deep breath in hold for three and breathe out.

Every body is different.

Every body needs a different kind of love.

We are referring specifically to your body.

Your body is different.

Your body needs a different kind of love.

Your body is different.

Your body needs a different kind of love.

Your body is different.

Your body needs a different kind of love.

Right now just focusing on the now.

Can you love you right now right where you are right now?

I want you to take this time and write down five things that you like about your body.

Five things.

It can be your nails that's part of your body.

It can be your legs.

Whatever it is your lips.

Whatever it is.

Five things.

And after you've written down those five things I want you to say thank you.

I want you to read each one and say thank you for my and you fill in the blank.

Giving thanks and being grateful just the way you are where you are right now.

Now this may be a difficult exercise for you.

If you're feeling some resistance I want you to take a break and take a breath.

And really search the resistance and start over with the breathing exercise again.
