This track is a guided meditation designed to soothe the pain of rejection and help begin the day with self-compassion. With steady pacing and warm imagery, it creates a safe space to acknowledge emotional pain without becoming overwhelmed by it. Using the metaphor of a bird near the heart, it invites release and healing while reinforcing your worth and inner strength. It's perfect for quiet mornings when old memories surface and you'd like help to come home to yourself.

Start by getting comfortable,

Lying in bed or sitting quietly,

Taking a deep breath in and slowly let it out,

Allowing your shoulders to drop,

Your face soften,

Allowing yourself to arrive gently in this moment.

Sometimes when the world is quiet and the day hasn't begun,

Old pain whispers to us.

If the morning brings memories of feeling unwanted,

Of someone not choosing you,

Of reaching out and being met with silence,

Know this.

Those thoughts are echoes,

They come not to punish you but because your heart remembers how deeply you cared.

You are not wrong for loving,

You are not wrong for hoping,

You are not wrong for reaching out.

You are human,

You are tender,

You are light and you are strong.

Gently allowing your body to absorb this message,

Noticing where your body is lying on the surface around you.

There also might be sounds around you.

Gently allowing yourself to come back to the breath,

Breathing in and out and gently imagining yourself in a peaceful place this morning.

The early light is soft,

Warm on your skin.

You are safe here,

Held by the earth,

Grounded.

And imagining a small bird landing near your heart.

It's beautiful and it flutters with the ache of old pain,

Not to hurt you but because it trusts you.

Visualising yourself gently putting your hands around this bird and saying to the bird and to the memory it carries within it,

I see you,

I've felt you but I am not you.

We don't need to carry this today,

We can let the light in.

Gently imagining the bird slowly flying away,

Watching it dissolve into clouds or into light.

Allowing yourself to feel the space that leads behind.

Soft,

Open,

Grounded,

Your space.

Taking a deep breath in,

Feeling the air move into your body and breathing out,

Allowing your body to sink in to the surface that you're sitting on,

To the ground beneath you.

Taking a moment now to sit in that quiet open space that you've created.

You've already begun something sacred,

Choosing to meet yourself with care instead of criticism.

You might like to say to yourself,

I am enough,

I am healing,

I am filled with loving kindness,

I am allowed to feel and I am allowed to begin.

Again today,

And gently bringing your awareness back to the sounds where you're seated and the connection with your body to whatever you're seated on.

Perhaps wriggling your fingers and your toes,

Giving yourself this opportunity to say thank you to yourself for starting the day a little differently.

You are enough and you are allowed to begin again today.

Sending love and light to you.
