Welcome to this meditation designed to bring you into a state of mindfulness and deep presence.
This is your time to pause,
Breathe and simply be.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your hands rest gently by your sides or in your lap.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or distractions.
Let's begin.
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Noticing its natural rhythm.
Feel the cool air entering your nose and the warmth of your breath as you exhale.
With each inhale,
Breathe in calm and clarity.
With each exhale,
Release thoughts of the past and future,
Allowing yourself to settle into this moment.
If your mind wanders,
Gently return your focus to your breath,
Knowing that presence is found in simply coming back to the now.
Now bring your awareness to your body.
Notice the weight of your body resting on the surface beneath you.
Tune into the sounds around you,
The gentle hum of life,
The silence or the distant movement of the world.
Listen without judgment,
Simply observing.
Now shift your focus inward.
Feel your heartbeat steady and strong.
Let this rhythm anchor you deeper into the present moment.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to fully experience the richness of now.
Without expectation,
Without effort,
Just being.
Imagine your thoughts as leaves floating on a gentle stream.
Some pass by quickly,
Others linger,
But none of them stay.
As thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them without attachment,
Then let them drift away.
Silently affirm,
I am present.
I am here.
I am at peace.
Feel the space between your thoughts expand,
Creating a sense of stillness and ease.
And taking one final deep breath in,
Filling your body with gratitude for this moment of presence.
Hold for a moment and then exhale,
Letting this feeling settle within you.
Ready?
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Bringing awareness back to the present moment.
And slowly open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of deep mindfulness with you into your day.
You are here.
You are present.
You are at peace.
