Hello and welcome.

Thank you for joining me today.

Take a moment to bring yourself into a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

Whichever you prefer.

Really nestle in now and begin to find a gentle soothing rhythm in your breath.

Allow yourself to come into the moment and into your body.

Closing your eyes if that feels comfortable for you,

If not that's okay.

Just let your gaze drift off past the end of your nose and begin to soften.

Shifting your attention inward and allowing the rhythm of your breath to aid your focus.

Becoming curious about all of those often unnoticed details.

All of the muscles,

The organs,

Even the tiniest of parts involved in this nourishing exchange of oxygen.

This process that is the foundation of life and so often goes unnoticed and neglected to the degree that we lose touch with its magic.

When born,

We breathe to full capacity,

Our bodies naturally knowing how to take full advantage of this nourishing resource.

We breathe down into our diaphragms,

Filling our lungs,

Our bellies rising with each breath,

Allowing all of our cells to be refueled by the exchange.

As we grow older,

We develop the habit of taking short,

Shallow breaths into our chest.

This leaves us depleted of oxygen.

Our body struggling to distribute the limited supply,

Leaving us low on oxygen,

Our hormones out of balance,

Our mood and cognition compromised,

And our physical bodies exhausted.

Not to worry,

Sweet soul,

That is why you are here.

To take time to honor all of the work you do,

All the work your body does to keep you moving through this life,

This life you are creating for yourself.

You are waking up to the beautiful world inside you,

To the gift that this body can be,

To the loving relationship that will unlock the potential hidden away beneath the layers the world has placed upon you.

You are not alone in this beautiful soul,

We are rising together.

Now is the time we wake up to the wisdom that tuning into our bodies can provide.

You are more capable than you could even imagine,

Dear one.

It's time to become a student of self,

To honor all the magic inside you that you simply forgot existed.

I know you feel it,

Wise soul,

A calling towards something more,

A dissatisfaction with the limitations,

With the superficial callings of the world we live in today,

A world of smoke and mirrors.

Do not be discouraged,

My friend.

You are not alone in this.

You like so many others have realized that in order to grow,

In order to create a world of connection and abundance,

We must tend to our own wounds.

We must evolve our own understanding to include the knowledge of the self.

We must identify our own ego and the influence it has on how we move through the world.

We must begin to love again.

This,

Dear one,

Is where it starts,

With you.

You are so very important.

You have so much inside of you waiting to be unleashed,

Waiting for your permission to realize your potential,

To be brave enough to love yourself deeply,

Unconditionally.

You do not have to prove anything,

Dear one.

You are already worthy,

Already capable,

Already a success.

Placing one hand on your chest now and one on your belly,

Allowing yourself to honor all the work you have done and continue to do.

Allowing the warmth of your hands to provide comfort and understanding.

Using the rhythm of your breath to allow compassion and forgiveness to flow through you now.

Understanding any emotions that arise as a truth to be told and then released.

Taking a moment to be gentle with yourself,

To show up in a way that maybe no one ever has done for you before.

And to give unconditional love to yourself as you would to a loved one or a small child.

This is where we begin a radical shift towards love and understanding,

Towards developing the skills to elevate our behavior,

Our potential,

Our entire experience.

All change throughout history started with a spark,

A flame ignited individually through purpose and passion and carried through the storm.

Together we can light the way.

Together we can bring warmth to the cold nights.

Together we can begin to heal the wounds that have been torn open by years of separateness and disconnection.

By tuning into ourselves,

We can begin to tune back into each other.

I'm going to be quiet now for a few minutes of meditation,

Of mindful breathing to really sink in,

To feel,

To notice.
