In every moment, we can choose to either keep carrying forward our old stories about our past or create a new story. When you shift your perception of your past, you can powerfully and positively change your future experiences and relationships. Today’s meditation is designed to help you witness any past stories that you are still holding on to, let go of those thoughts that no longer serve you, and refocus on the present moment through relaxation, visualization, and a mantra.

Clearing Meditation for Letting Go So often we try to relive the past or future trip and worry about what may or may not happen.

Whatever you give your attention to now is a good indicator of what you will manifest in your future.

In every moment,

We can choose to either keep carrying forward our old stories about our past or create a new story.

When you shift your perception of the past you can powerfully and positively change your future experiences and relationships.

Today's meditation is designed to help you witness any past stories that you're still holding onto.

Let go of those thoughts that no longer serve you and refocus to the present moment.

Let's get started.

Find a comfortable seated position.

Back is supported.

Head,

Neck,

And spine are upright and aligned.

Your chin is slightly lowered.

Feet can be planted on the ground or legs can be crossed.

Whatever feels most comfortable to you today.

Hands rest gently on your lap.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and out as you settle into your seat.

We will begin with a focused relaxation moving from the crown of your head down to your toes.

On your next inhale bring your attention to the crown of your head.

As you exhale feel any tension release from this area.

Moving your awareness down relax your forehead,

Your brow,

Your eyelids,

Bring your awareness down even further,

Relaxing your cheeks.

It may feel good to gently and slowly wiggle your jaw side to side or open and close your jaw feeling the release of tension.

Allow your tongue to fall from the roof of your mouth.

You may feel like smiling as you feel your whole face relax.

On your next inhale allow your left ear to tilt toward your left shoulder.

As you exhale bring your head back up to center.

On your next breath in gently tilt your right ear toward your right shoulder and as you breathe out return back to center.

Roll your shoulders up,

Back and down.

Relax your arms,

Your elbows,

Your forearms and hands.

Feel your chest rise and fall with your next breath.

Take a deep breath in feeling your belly expand then release.

Relax your hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

Down to your ankles,

Your feet and toes.

Take a deep breath in and feel your whole body relax on your exhale.

Breathe normally now allowing your natural breath to take over.

As you relax further imagine in your mind's eye that you see a small table in front of you.

On that table you see a small piece of paper and as you approach the table and look down more closely you see either an image or some written words that appear.

Something you wish to let go of in this moment.

You may simply see the words the past written on this paper.

See what shows up for you today.

Now imagine picking up the paper taking a small lighter to the edge of that paper.

Seeing the paper slowly begin to burn starting from one end and slowly moving to the other until the words or image has completely disappeared leaving only behind a pile of ash.

Take a long deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale through your mouth see yourself blowing the ash away into the ether.

It drifts off completely carried away by the wind to be recycled back to the earth.

Leaving the past behind you are able to focus on this present moment right here and now.

You are ready to see things differently.

Here you can simply let go and surrender it to the universe.

Take three deep cleansing breaths.

Slow inhale extend your exhale.

Inhale belly rises exhale belly falls.

Long breath in steady breath out.

We will now introduce our mantra to go even deeper.

Sinking our in and out breaths with two simple words.

Let go.

With each new breath in we see and hear the word let floating through our mind as we allow in renewed energy and a fresh perspective.

With each out breath we see and hear the word go whispered releasing what's no longer relevant or beneficial to us now.

Breathe in the word let breathe out the word go.

Inhaling renewed energy exhaling relaxing fully.

Inhale let exhale go.

Continue with this mantra for the next several minutes until you hear the sound of my bowl and my voice to guide you out.
