Hello and welcome.
My name is Jess King and this meditation is really for anyone who is experiencing grief.
When I say grief I mean loss of any type but I share particular emphasis on those who have left this transition,
This physical life.
It is so difficult for those of us who miss loved ones even while knowing that love is eternal,
Their presence is eternal,
Their soul is eternal.
It does not unfortunately take away the pain of missing someone and so it is with this intention I create this meditation to share with you to offer healing,
To offer understanding and really to help hold space for however you're feeling in any given moment.
Please take a moment get comfortable you can lie down highly encourage lying down on your back.
Grab a blanket or pillow as you wish.
Feel free to pause this to do that and once you find that position gently allow your eyelids to fall closed.
Noticing if you feel tense in your upper body,
In your jaw try and relax those muscles in your face,
Relaxing your shoulders and gently begin breathing in through the nose all the way in breathing into your belly and out through the mouth.
Following your breath in receiving and surrendering as you breathe out.
You can feel your body begin to relax the muscles gently softening and as you quiet your mind putting space between any thoughts that may arise.
Gently breathe in this present moment inhaling slowly being careful not to raise your shoulders as you breathe in.
Really breathing into your abdomen that first second third chakra to begin.
Breathe fully and feel that wave moving from your abdomen into your chest as you breathe in it's just expansion and release as you exhale.
Breathing out through your mouth noticing your body soften and continuing to follow your breath in this way.
The pain of grief is something I can't possibly express its depth through words,
Its feeling,
Its emotion,
Its heartbreaking,
Heart-wrenching at times.
It can come when we least expect we can be having the best day and suddenly a memory,
A trigger,
A flash,
The smallest thing can sort of erupt something deep inside of us and in this meditation let's create space.
Create space for these moments.
Create support for these moments as you breathe in if you've had any triggers recently or perhaps it's been hard to leave home.
Perhaps you're doing great but whatever it is this journey of grief that never truly ends.
Let's breathe in some of those triggers some of those moments I want to encourage you to feel that sadness or anger or whatever feelings come up for you that are unpleasant.
Let's breathe it in three breaths and each time you exhale you're gonna breathe out that emotion okay.
So gently breathe in any of the sadness or any emotions taking you away from happiness.
Gently breathe it in,
Breathe it into your belly and your heart.
Feel it come in all the way in complete inhale and breathe it out and just long exhale all the way feel that feeling leaving your body all the way out release let go.
Do that two more times at your own pace just breathing in feeling it you might have a release emotionally you might have tears or anger just really embrace that feeling and then let it go then release it and feel it leaving you and one more time just like that breathe it in experience it feel that and gently surrender feel it leaving your body noticing that space in your body that space filling with light returning to a place of wholeness and continue doing that for a few more breaths if that feels right to you in this moment as you continue following your breath a gentle reminder of what you may already be clear in knowing and that is that your loved one is always with you in the spiritual realm our relationships change surely they're far more in this moment very difficult because of those feelings of loss and whatever comes up for you and rather than negate those feelings let's embrace whatever feelings come up and gently reminding yourself as well of what is true the soul is eternal while the physical body is is not I feel called to share that your loved ones hear you when you speak I speak from deep experience with this when you speak your loved ones hear you so if there's any doubt in your mind if there's any questioning if you see a sign and your mind says oh that wasn't real that was just a coincidence or I'm playing my mind is playing tricks on me please know and while I'm speaking my actual physical body is vibrating which for me is a sign of truth please know your loved ones hear you they are safe they are well it is you and the loved ones who are left here on planet earth at this time who are experiencing the pain your loved ones are there to guide you to support you and those relationships while they change vastly those relationships evolve so please know you are heard you are supported whatever you're feeling is okay there's no guidebook or no one-size-fits-all method of healing and healing is not linear and healing is not finite and that is okay from my heart to yours I'm sharing compassion I'm holding so much space for you I'm holding this safe space from the from the depth of my heart and my soul through having experienced loss which is part of life just to remind you it's okay the pain will shift the connection is eternal your love is eternal have much more I wish to say but I'm called to close this meditation first for time if you're interested in continuing this conversation please visit my insight timer profile sending you so much love so much support healing and a gentle reminder you are divine your loved ones are with you if you wish to continue this meditation to continue breathing feeling and releasing please do so and if it's time for you to reawaken to your day or to your evening feel free to gently move your joints your shoulders ankles stretch do it feels right and gently open your eyes with this knowledge and reminder it's okay however you feel you are loved you are supported and you are not alone from my heart to yours I thank you for your time for your trust and I wish you a beautiful day or evening and always holding space with love light strength and trust I'm just King for insight timer thank you namaste
