Welcome once again to Day 7,
Unshakable Heart Chaotic Times.
Clearly we've been focusing on the unshakable heart in these chaotic times.
And this is what we do.
We become what we focus on.
Where our attention goes,
So do we.
Thus we've been focusing on the unshakable of the heart and different aspects of it.
Today we will focus on uplifting the quality of the mind.
So let's take some breaths together to allow ourselves to become present.
We can use the conscious breathing of the days before by inhaling naturally.
Inhaling,
Holding,
Exhaling,
Holding.
And continuing at your own pace in whatever way of breath that you would like,
Bringing the mind to attach to the breath.
And as you breathe and become more and more aware of your breath,
Let us start to train the mind to follow the breath.
Sometimes we'll become distracted after one second or two seconds.
Sometimes we'll be able to bring the mind back again and again.
The more patient we can be with the training of the mind,
The more effective we will be in training the mind.
Turning the mind into an ally.
So we continue breathing and bringing the mind back to the awareness of the breath.
And with every breath,
We allow the mind to settle by tethering it to the breath.
Now let us activate the presence of the heart and seeing the heart as a sun,
Allowing it to shine.
Experiencing that presence of love,
Gratitude,
Humility,
Surrender.
Seeing the heart as a sun,
And its warmth,
And its forgiveness,
And its light and its love as us.
And now we'll start to shine the light of the heart through the mind.
Such that with every breath,
We uplift the quality of the mind and its frequency.
Meaning we begin to think more consciously.
We become more thoughtful.
And the nearly infinite qualities of love that exist within us start to shine themselves through the mind.
We can think of the mind as a transparent box surrounding the head.
And that whatever we put into the mind gets expressed in our lives.
So choose a few qualities in which you'd like to express in your life.
Perhaps you'd like to have more joy and peace.
With the breath,
Allow the heart to shine those aspects into the mind.
Thereby informing the mind how to be.
This mind in itself is purely transparent and perfect in its design,
Yet we've trained it in ways that can be unhelpful for the results we'd like to get in our lives.
We've absorbed information and teachings per se from our parents and those around us that are sometimes unhelpful.
In plenty of ways that are helpful.
But becoming unshakable in ourselves means becoming conscious.
Becoming conscious means training the mind consciously.
And in this technique,
We're going directly to the source of energy itself by working with energy.
We activate qualities of joy and peace in the mind that shines from the heart.
We can picture the heart shining out through the center of the chest into the mind,
Such that the mind is informed by the heart.
This is something we can be completely spontaneous with in our lives by taking one breath into the heart and a conscious exhale and seeing how we wish to be in any given circumstance.
That's why we usually feel better when we pay attention to the breath,
Because we naturally become embodied and the heart can be expressed into the mind.
So with every breath,
Let's become more and more conscious of the heart's sun as us shining and uplifting the mind.
We can see the mind as pure and transparent,
Perfect for us to plant a garden in.
And to reap what we consciously sow.
So from this place,
Take a few moments now and either silently or vocally share some qualities that you wish to activate in your mind.
You may say words or energies like peacefulness,
Confidence,
Ease,
Vitality,
Happiness,
Joy,
More energy,
Compassion,
Versatility,
Knowingness,
Stillness,
And any other qualities that you wish.
And in the silence and the stillness,
Allow the heart to shine through the mind.
Surrendering,
Allowing,
Opening.
This is our becoming.
Who we choose to become.
Who we choose to create ourselves to be.
This is the power that we hold,
That we have been gifted.
And let us finally express our gratitude for our mind.
For what a faithful servant it is,
Always remembering that we are the master of our mind.
And to this power we bow.
