Hello this is Jodi with Big Heart and today we are going to step fully into gratitude.

You know gratitude is a choice.

You can choose to be grateful when things are good,

When things are not so great.

You always have a choice.

You know gratitude turns what we have into enough.

So allow yourself to step into this space of being grateful.

Breathing in you are breathing in and breathing out you are breathing out.

Allowing yourself to be grateful for each and every breath you take.

Noticing the rise and the fall of your chest as you breathe.

Allow yourself to take some deeper breaths.

Really filling your belly,

Filling your lungs and simply be present in this moment with your breathing.

It's you and your breath.

You know your breath is your life force.

Without it you would not be here.

Be grateful for this moment.

Feeling the coolness as it enters in through your nose.

Your lungs fill and the warmth as it releases out.

It's just you and your breath.

Feel your mind calming,

Your body relaxing.

Allow yourself to send your body love and compassion and gratitude in this moment.

If you have any tightness or tension just simply send those places some love.

Allow your shoulders to relax.

Feel how your feet are rested on the floor.

Mindfully move if you need to but allow yourself to fully settle into this space.

You,

Your body and your breath.

Now bring into your mind's eye somebody you are grateful for.

If you can't choose you can bring two people in,

Whoever that may be for you.

Call them into your heart space.

See them before you.

Allow yourself in this moment to thank them for being in your life.

Thank them for being a guiding light.

Let them know how much you appreciate them.

You're sending them loving energy from your heart to theirs.

Showing gratitude and having gratitude is such an important quality.

It can change the dynamic in any relationship or friendship.

Now allow that person or people to drift off into the distance.

Simply feel how you feel in this moment.

Allow your body to settle in a little deeper.

Connecting your body and your breath to your heart.

Now let's turn that gratitude inward.

Let's send yourself love and appreciation.

See yourself in this moment.

The big smile on your face.

Your body feeling good.

Let go of any negative thoughts and be kind in your mind.

And be grateful for this moment,

For you showing up today.

Taking the time for you.

You know the work that you do on yourself is not a goal.

It is a process.

It is a lifetime process.

And you have a choice every single day how you show up.

So in this moment,

Send yourself love and appreciation.

Accept you for you.

You know gratitude connects you to the joy that's hidden in plain view.

Patiently waiting to be seen.

Gratitude is the beacon that guides you to the place where meaning and truth and love exist.

Remember when you are struggling to find peace or calm when things are crazy.

If you find gratitude in the midst of the storm,

That's when you find grace.

That's when you find compassion and empathy.

It's not always easy.

However,

There is something to always be grateful for.

And it can be as simple as your breath.

Allow your breath to connect to this mantra,

Calling forth gratitude and bliss.

Your mantra today is Ananda,

Hum.

Breathing in Ananda and breathing out hum.

Ananda,

Hum.

I will mind the time for a moment as you repeat that over and over mindfully and silently.

Ananda,

Hum.

Ananda,

Hum.

If your mind has wandered,

Just simply come back to the phrase.

Ananda,

Hum.

Ananda,

Hum.

Now allow that phrase to drift off into the distance.

Feel how you feel in this moment.

Allowing gratitude to gladden your heart.

Being grateful in this moment for those who help guide you.

And also for yourself.

And also for yourself.

For showing up today.

Namaste.
