Hello,

Beloved friend.

This is Julie Riesler.

I am an intuitive coach.

I have meditations and courses here on Insight Timer,

Including a course called Hungry For More if you'd like to go deeper into the whole world of recovering from food addiction.

And I want you to know that I understand the world of overeating,

Binging,

Using and abusing food and going to food very well.

I spent much of my life with my hand in boxes or bags,

In the fridge,

In your fridge,

In anyone's fridge,

Really just using food as a way to cope with my emotions.

Rather than digesting my feelings,

I digested them with food.

So I don't know your history,

But I do know that if you're here right now,

I feel you,

I get you,

And I'm sending love to you.

The most important thing right now is to pause,

To reconnect to the sacred divine being that you are,

And to hold yourself in a blanket of compassion and love.

So just pause right now,

And I truly,

Truly applaud you for taking this moment before eating or binging or looking to ingest something so that you didn't have to manage or handle a feeling.

I applaud you because you're changing right now by pausing and being still.

So let us begin.

Right now,

I invite you to put your hand on your heart.

Good.

And you're going to start slowing down your breath.

In for five,

And out for five.

And I'm going to invite you to imagine breathing in and out of your heart.

Now perhaps ask your heart for a symbol,

An image,

A vision,

A picture.

For me,

It's often a big rose.

Just ask your heart what that might be.

Beautiful.

Now you can imagine breathing in and out of that image or picture or symbol.

Don't worry if you did not see or sense anything.

Just imagine breathing in and out of your chest area,

Knowing that you are sinking your heart and brain right now.

Breathing in for five and out for five,

Slowing down your pace and cadence,

Coming home to your body and being,

And allowing yourself the space and the grace to be present for all that is.

Good.

We're going to tune into your heart wisdom and ask her,

Ask her about the food that you were about to eat.

Ask him,

Ask directly my heart,

Do you want me to eat that food?

Is this for my best?

Ask your heart and notice what comes up,

Not what your head was saying,

Not because it smells good,

But notice what does your heart tell you?

So your heart is literally made of intelligence,

Over 40,

000 sensory neurites.

And it's here for our highest good to point us in the direction when we are willing to listen.

Just pause and breathe and notice what you got.

And you might ask your heart,

Beloved heart,

What other wisdom do you have for me right now?

And just noticing what he or she has to say.

Maybe you sense it,

Feel it,

Hear it,

Or see it.

I'm going to give you a few moments to stay close,

To stay connected,

To stay enveloped by your natural healing heart energy.

Allow it to wrap you,

Love you.

And to hold you.

When you feel ready,

You can slowly come back to the moment and just thank yourself,

Thank your higher heart,

Thank your higher self,

Thank your whole being for making the time and the space to be present right now before taking that bite,

Before eating that food.

And just a quick word of wisdom.

Whatever you do next,

Whether you go on about your day,

Have a meal that is full of nutrients,

Or perhaps if you still choose to eat that item,

I urge you to do so with love,

To do so with compassion and not judgment.

And to know that your body is full of wisdom and is always speaking to you.

May you go in peace,

May you be full of nourishment,

Love,

Grace,

And abundance.

So much love.

Namaste.
