Welcome to investigating the inner methods.

I'm Kali and this is a short practice in remembrance.

We humans tend to complicate things but the simple truth of our nature is that we're inherently good.

Each one of us innately has what's referred to as our Buddha nature.

Meaning,

Despite whatever mistakes you've made or ways you've fallen short,

We're born with a depth of wisdom that's perfectly kind,

Clear,

And compassionate.

So close your eyes and I want you to just breathe those qualities in.

Even though we may feel cluttered,

Constricted,

Or chaotic,

Maybe even crazy at times,

Your true nature is clear,

Open,

Spacious.

You possess what's called Buddha nature.

You are good.

And you've always done the best you can do with the resources you've had available.

So whatever burden you're carrying with you into the practice,

It's never too late to forgive,

To begin again,

To soften,

To love yourself with tenderness because we are greater than our suffering.

So feel yourself wide and open.

Wisdom seeping from your very fingers and toes.

Feeling where the borders of your skin meet the embrace of the space around you.

And the ground beneath you.

Feel held,

Cradled almost.

And feel the kindness within you,

Your calm,

Compassionate,

Curious nature.

Like the Buddha within smiling upon you.

So smile at the third eye,

That space just in between the brows and in towards the center skull.

Feel the energy collecting at the very center of the brain like a rich inner smile.

And then smile behind your gently closed eyes.

Feel the eyes and the mouth uplift a bit.

And now flow that smiling energy down to neck and shoulders,

Seeing them relax,

Soften,

Widen with this loving warmth.

And smile down to each organ while also becoming aware of the virtues of each one.

So smiling from within the center of the heart space first,

Where you can envision a warm softening,

Creating a state of love,

Joy,

Appreciation.

Smiling from the lungs,

From the collarbones to the base of the ribcage,

Just generating this inner tone of courage,

Honor,

Respect.

Smiling from the liver,

Such an essential feature of our vitality.

It's said to host the personality structure of kindness.

And kindness generate from the liver.

And then smiling from within the digestive organs,

Pancreas,

Spleen,

Stomach,

Within the belly just generating fairness and ease of being a stability.

And lastly,

Smile to the kidneys as you're absorbed with gentle tranquility,

Equanimity,

Contentment.

And return back up to that place between the eyes and smile all the way down the spinal cord,

That royal road through the center line and then across the front body,

The side bodies,

Just tracing that gentle collection of smiling energy all the way along the back of the body.

And we'll land all the way through the inner body to the very center at the low belly,

Breathing a gentle sense of ease into the low abdomen where we recite our intention.

May I be internally balanced.

May I know peace.

May I know gentle tranquility.

And then returning once again from the inner gaze at the low belly,

Your very stable wisdom center,

All the way back up to the eyes where refreshed and relaxed you open them,

Seeing the world around you with clarified,

Loving vision.

And we'll close with a lovely phrase from an ancient Tibetan book,

Ancient text in the wisdom of life.

It begins many of its verses just like this.

O nobly born,

O you who are the sons and the daughters of the awakened ones,

Remember who you truly are.

That's it.
