Welcome.

Let's let go and enjoy this meditation for deep rest and renewal.

Begin by finding yourself in a comfortable position,

Whether you're lying down or sitting,

Allowing your body to be supported.

Softening your gaze,

Gently close your eyes,

And take a deep,

Full breath in,

And a slow,

Releasing breath out.

Now simply take a moment to arrive here,

To sense that you are in a safe,

Quiet space,

And that there is nothing that you need to do,

Nowhere to go.

This is your time to simply be.

As you breathe naturally,

Begin to bring awareness to the body.

Feel the weight of your body resting against the surface beneath you.

Sense the support of the earth holding you completely.

Now gently scan through the body,

Inviting in relaxation.

Soften the muscles around the eyes,

Allowing your jaw to loosen,

And those muscles to relax.

Dropping the shoulders,

Finding distance between the shoulders and the ears,

Letting them rest with ease,

Allowing the hands to rest,

To soft,

To be open,

And to just receive.

Feeling warmth and ease spreading through the belly with every breath,

Feeling your whole belly relax,

Finding space for ease,

Letting the legs and feet become heavy and relaxed,

Releasing all effort,

Any gripping,

Any holding on,

Allow it to just relax and release.

With each breath,

Feel tension dissolving,

Like a wave retreating back into the ocean.

Now bring your attention to your breath,

Simply noticing its natural rhythm.

There's no need to control or change it,

Just observe.

If thoughts arise as they naturally will,

Imagine them as clouds drifting across the sky.

No need to follow them,

No need to push them,

Just notice and gently return to the breath.

Now sensing inward,

Simply ask yourself,

What am I holding on to?

A conversation from earlier?

A worry?

A tightness in the heart?

Without needing to fix or solve anything,

Simply acknowledge whatever is here with a gentle whisper of kindness.

It's okay.

This too belongs.

And then with each exhale,

Imagine you are releasing,

Letting go,

As if placing the day into the hands of the universe,

Trusting that you can rest now,

That all is held in loving awareness.

Now gently place a hand on your heart,

Feel the warmth,

The steadiness,

Sense the presence of something larger than your thoughts,

This vast open awareness that holds all of you with compassion.

You are not your stress,

You are not your worries,

You are this vast presence,

Awake and free.

In these final moments,

Allow yourself to fully rest in this awareness,

To be cradled by stillness,

To receive the deep nourishment of simply being.

And as this meditation comes to an end,

Know that the space of ease is always within you.

You can return to it anytime.

Take one last deep cleansing breath in,

And a long soft sigh out.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Move slowly,

And if you're ready to sleep,

You can carry this deep rest with you right now into sleep.

May you rest well,

May you be held in peace,

May you awaken with ease.

You
