Hello and welcome to your EFT for self-sabotage.
My name is Casey and I will be guiding you during this practice today.
Before we begin,
Find yourself in a comfortable seat,
Your back being supported by a chair,
Feet firmly planted on the ground,
And sitting bones pressing into your seat.
Take a few slow,
Smooth cycles of breath,
Breathing in through your nose,
With a slight pause at the top,
And a slow,
Smooth exhale through your nose.
Take two more breaths just like that.
Slowly,
Smoothly,
Pausing at the top of your breath,
And a slow,
Smooth exhale through your nose.
One more breath,
Pausing at the top,
And a slow,
Smooth exhale.
Find a sustainable breath that you can maintain throughout our practice.
Before we dive into the tapping,
Take a moment to rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10.
1 being hardly noticeable,
And 10 being extremely uncomfortable.
Wherever you fall on the scale is fine.
The hope is at the end of the practice,
That number will have moved closer to a 1.
And if it doesn't,
Remember that is okay,
This is a practice,
And you may need to keep coming back to it to experience relief.
Let us begin tapping on the karate chop point.
It doesn't matter which side,
As long as it feels comfortable.
Tapping in between the wrist and the pinky finger knuckle.
Tapping on the side of the hand,
And we'll say our setup statement three times.
Even though I engage in self-sabotaging thoughts and behavior,
I deeply love and honor who I am.
Even though I engage in self-sabotaging thoughts and behavior,
I deeply love and honor who I am.
Even though I engage in self-sabotaging thoughts and behavior,
I deeply love and honor who I am.
Tapping at the third eye in between the eyebrows,
I will say each statement twice.
I don't know why I do these things.
I don't know why I do these things.
Tapping at the side of your eye,
I have a tendency to ruin things before they begin.
I have a tendency to ruin things before they begin.
Under eye,
I ruin relationships,
Business and work opportunities.
I ruin relationships,
Business and work opportunities.
Tapping under the nose,
I doubt myself.
I doubt myself.
Tapping on the chin,
I doubt my abilities.
I doubt my abilities.
Tapping on the collarbone,
I doubt my abilities.
Tapping on the collarbone,
I think the worst and believe it.
I think the worst and believe it.
Tapping on the underarm,
I'm tired of not getting what I want.
I'm tired of not getting what I want.
Tapping on the crown of the head,
I know I can change my thoughts.
I know I can change my thoughts.
Pause here and take a breath in between rounds.
Realign your spine if you feel like you've started to slump forward or around the shoulders.
Allow the shoulders to relax back and down your back.
Tapping at the third eye,
I don't have to believe these false thoughts.
I don't have to believe these false thoughts.
Side eye,
I can change my thoughts.
I can change my thoughts.
Under eye,
I can make the thought positive instead of negative.
I can make the thought positive instead of negative.
Under your nose,
What am I so fearful of?
What am I so fearful of?
Chin point,
Am I afraid to get what I want?
Am I afraid to get what I want?
Tapping at the collarbones,
The job,
The partner,
The home,
The job,
The partner,
The home.
Underarm,
Why do I doubt my abilities?
Why do I doubt my abilities?
Crown,
I am just as good as those who have what I desire.
I am just as good as those who have what I desire.
Pausing here,
Take an inhale through your nose,
Slow,
Smooth exhale out your nose.
Round three,
Tapping at the third eye once again.
I can have what I want.
I can have what I want.
Side eye,
I need to stop thinking I'm not worthy.
I need to stop thinking I'm not worthy.
Under eye,
I am worthy.
I deserve to have what I desire.
I am worthy.
I deserve to have what I desire.
Under the nose,
I no longer need to doubt myself.
I no longer need to doubt myself.
Chin point,
I do not need to overthink.
I do not need to overthink.
Collarbone,
I can accept things as they are.
I can accept things as they are.
Underarm,
What if I choose to believe I can have everything I want?
What if I choose to believe I can have everything I want?
Crown,
What's the worst that could happen?
What's the worst that could happen?
And take a pause and take a couple cycles of breath before our final round.
Again,
Realign the spine,
Sitting up nice and tall,
Tapping at the third eye.
My fear does not need to control me.
My fear does not need to control me.
Side eye,
My ego does not need to fear rejection.
My ego does not need to fear rejection.
Under eye,
It is safe to trust.
It is safe to trust.
Under your nose,
Good things can happen to me and for me.
Good things can happen to me and for me.
Chin,
I focus on what's good in front of me.
I focus on what's good in front of me.
In front of me.
Collarbone,
I don't need to worry that it won't work out.
I don't need to worry that it won't work out.
Underarm,
I am open to receiving goodness.
I am open to receiving goodness.
Crown,
I am worthy of receiving goodness.
I am worthy of receiving goodness.
Gently allow your hands to rest in your lap.
Take a couple cycles of breath,
Noticing how you feel,
Allowing all of those affirmations and tapping integrate into your nervous system.
And once again,
Take a moment to assess where you are on that scale of one to 10.
It may be the same as where you were when we started,
Or it may have moved down the scale closer to a one.
Whatever the case is,
Know that that is okay and that healing is not a linear process.
You will have to come back to this meditation and other tools to seek relief.
On your next inhale,
Reach your arms up and overhead,
Connecting hands at heart center.
Exhale,
Pulling down all of that divine universal energy to your heart center.
And it vibrates as the frequency of love through which you and I and all sentient beings are connected on this planet.
The light in me salutes and honors the light in you.
Namaste,
My friends,
And thank you so much for allowing me to provide you with this service.
