Welcome to this chakra balancing meditation.
Today we will focus on aligning and balancing the seven chakras in your body,
Helping you to feel more grounded,
Centered and at peace.
Chakras are the energy centers in your body that influence your physical,
Emotional and spiritual well-being.
By bringing awareness to each one you can clear blockages and allow energy to flow freely,
Creating harmony within yourself.
Today if you can,
Find a comfortable seated position with your spine straight.
Lean up against a wall if you wish or if it really does feel better for you then do lie down.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs and exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress you may be holding on to.
Wiggle your jaw,
Perhaps shake your hands.
Roll your head and release tension in your neck before finding stillness.
As your breath slows,
Allow each breath to bring you into a deeper state of relaxation and presence.
Bring your attention now to the base of your spine,
The area of your root chakra.
This chakra connects you to the earth and is the foundation of your sense of safety and stability.
Visualize a glowing red light at the base of your spine.
With each inhale imagine this red light growing brighter,
Grounding you to earth,
Feeling a sense of security and strength flowing through you.
Repeat silently,
I am grounded,
I am safe,
I am secure.
Moving your awareness now to your lower abdomen,
Around two inches below your navel,
Where your sacral chakra is located.
This chakra is the center of your creativity,
Your emotions and sensuality.
Visualize a warm orange light in this area.
With each breath allow this orange light to expand,
Filling your body with creative energy and emotional balance.
Affirm to yourself,
I am creative,
I am passionate,
I embrace my emotions.
Shifting your focus to your upper abdomen just below your ribcage where your solar plexus chakra resides.
This chakra is the source of your personal power and confidence.
Picture a bright yellow light like the Sun radiating from this area.
With each inhale feel this yellow light growing stronger,
Empowering you with confidence and strength.
I am powerful,
I am confident,
I am in control of my life.
Bring your attention now to the center of your chest,
The heart chakra,
The seat of love,
Compassion and forgiveness.
Visualize a vibrant green light flowing from your heart center.
With each breath imagine this green light expanding,
Filling you with unconditional love and compassion for yourself and for others.
Affirm,
I am love,
I am compassion,
I am forgiveness.
Now to your throat,
The area of the throat chakra governing communication,
Truth and self-expression.
Visualize a soothing blue light in your throat and with each inhale let this blue light to grow brighter,
Opening your ability to speak your truth and express yourself clearly.
Repeat to yourself,
I am honest,
I am expressive,
I speak my truth with clarity and confidence.
Shifting your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,
The location of your third eye chakra,
The center of intuition,
Wisdom and inner vision.
Visualize an indigo light shining in this area with each breath becoming more vivid,
Enhancing your intuition and your inner knowing.
Affirm,
I am intuitive,
I trust my inner wisdom,
I see clearly.
Finally bring your focus to the top of your head where your crown chakra is located.
This chakra is your connection to the divine,
To universal consciousness and spiritual enlightenment.
Visualize a brilliant violet or white light at the crown of your head.
With each inhale feel this light expanding upward connecting you to the infinite universe.
Repeat to yourself,
I am connected,
I am divine,
I am one with the universe.
Take a few moments to feel the energy flowing through each of your chakras from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.
Visualize a column of light running through the center of your body connecting each chakra,
Aligning and balancing your entire building.
As you breathe feel a deep sense of harmony,
Balance and inner peace.
Know that you can return to this state of balance whenever you need.
When you are ready gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and take a deep grounding breath in.
Exhaling fully and open your eyes.
Carry this sense of balance and alignment with you throughout your day.
