Welcome to this short meditation to help with anxiousness.

You may use this at any point throughout your day to help you feel more grounded,

More connected and more at peace.

So when you're ready,

Finding a comfortable place to sit where you'll be undisturbed,

Closing your eyes and just gently doing a scan of your body,

Seeing if there's anything that can help you feel more relaxed.

And we'll start off by focusing on the breath.

So we'll have a short inhale and a longer exhale.

So we'll count together.

So on our inhale,

We'll inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And hold.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Good.

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And hold.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Again,

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And hold.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And five.

Good.

So continue in this rhythm.

See if you can make your inhale and your exhale even one more second longer.

And as you move through your breath,

Try to bring to mind right now something that you are grateful for,

Thankful for,

Something that brings you joy.

Take a moment to reflect on that and what that may be.

And when you have that within yourself,

Try now to focus on how that makes you feel.

What is this thing that you are grateful for?

How does this make you feel within your body?

And try now to even find the place or take note of where you feel this feeling,

Where you feel this gratitude within your body.

And as you become aware of this feeling,

This sensation within the body,

Allowing that feeling,

Allowing that sensation to grow,

Allowing that feeling or sensation to spread throughout the body,

Focusing on what brings you joy,

What you're grateful for,

And allowing that feeling to move throughout the body.

And maybe a little smile starts to appear on your face,

And more importantly,

Maybe a little smile starts to appear within your heart.

And allow this moment of gratitude to fill you up,

As this feeling,

As this gratitude,

As this joy,

As this love,

As this light is always with you.

And it's always available to you.

So at any moment within your day that you need to tap into this,

Tap into this feeling,

Tap into this joy,

This light,

Come back to this breath,

Come back to this feeling,

And allow this to replace and replenish you.

Allow this to fill you,

So that your new feeling is one of gratitude,

And one of peace.
