
It’s All Going To Be OK

Welcome to In The Flow,
A positivity-provoking podcast designed to lift us up to that higher place to live our best lives.

Meditate,
And discuss any and all things spiritual to learn and remove any stigma surrounding spiritual gifts,

Prayer,

So I had this entire,
Well,
You know,
I only do these,
These are only like 15 or 20 minutes,
Right?
I had this whole thing planned.
I've been doing,
I've been doing the chakras,
Right?
But this morning I got up really early,
Like really early,
And I was meditating and it was great.
Like I was like,
Oh,
I'm loving this.
And all of a sudden it came to me,
No,
You're not supposed to talk about the chakras today.
And I was like,
Okay,
What am I supposed to talk about?
And oh my gosh,
I was like in tears because I was told,
Oh my gosh,
Lori,
You need to tell people that everything is going to be okay.
And it,
It,
It really kind of came to me because,
You know,
This is for some reason,
And I don't know what's going on other than mercury being retrograde.
I really don't know what's going on astrologically,
But there's some crazy weird energy going on,
Right?
It's like all these people,
Like all of my friends,
Almost literally,
Like all of my friends are having a really hard time right now.
Like really hard times,
Like the friends that are always like even keeled,
Having a hard time.
And Spirit was like so specific this morning.
Lori,
You have to tell people that it's going to be okay.
So I was like,
What?
And Spirit was like,
Just give it all up to me.
Spirit is saying,
Just give it all up to me and I will say the words.
So I'm,
So here I am.
I've given this podcast,
This live,
Whatever it is,
Whenever you're listening to it,
I've given it up to Spirit and,
And here's what the message is.
It's okay to have hope.
Oh my gosh.
You know,
Like I said,
I know so many people that are having such a rough time right now.
And sometimes hope gets lost in the shuffle,
You know,
Because you're trying to manage everything.
Everything needs to be managed.
Like this issue,
This part of this issue,
This part of this issue,
You know,
All these things need to be managed and figured out and all that stuff.
But don't forget about the hope.
All of these weird sort of feelings,
The sadness,
Anxiety,
Stress,
Unsure about the future.
It's all temporary and it's okay to have hope.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
And then here's the other thing that I'm supposed to say.
I love channeling.
It's awesome.
The other thing I'm supposed to say is,
In this time of uncertainty,
Is that even a word?
Uncertainty?
Certainty,
But uncertainty.
Focus on yourself a little bit.
It's okay to focus on yourself and to focus on your own mental and emotional health.
It's okay to focus on that.
And even when all these outside forces come in and are weighing down on your mind and your brain and everybody wants something from you,
Focusing on your own personal,
Mental and emotional and spiritual health is so important.
And it's okay to do that.
It's okay to take that 10 minutes.
I had a friend this weekend and we were talking about these issues,
Things going on in their life.
And I said,
Do you meditate?
And she was like,
You know,
I try.
So what we're going to do right now is we're going to talk about this.
Just taking 10 minutes for yourself.
Forget the idea.
I know that for some people,
The idea of meditating is like,
Well,
Oh my God,
I can't do that.
I have to sit and I got to do this and I got to sit this way and I got to like,
There's got to be music on it.
It's got to be this or that or it doesn't it doesn't have to be that way.
Just sit by yourself for yourself.
And this is what I'm talking about.
Your own spiritual,
Mental,
Emotional health.
And meditation,
I'm not saying it's the be all end all and it's going to solve all the problems of the world because it doesn't.
But it's a start and it can help you personally.
Just that 10 minutes starting.
That's all it has to do.
And all you have to do is it's kind of like,
OK,
And I don't mean to I don't mean to compare it to alcoholism.
I really don't.
But one day at a time,
You know,
One day at a time,
Just commit to 10 minutes today.
It can help.
It truly,
Truly can.
So what we're going to just do is we're going to sit for about 10 minutes.
We're going to sit in the stillness.
We're going to enjoy just sitting in this quiet.
And we're just going to allow ourselves to have that time for ourselves.
OK.
All right.
So to get yourself comfortable,
You don't have to sit any special way.
You don't have to do anything with your hands.
You can if you want.
If you understand what that is,
The mudras,
You can do that if you want.
You don't have to.
All you have to do is show up.
This is your time for you.
OK,
So let's sit where we're comfortable,
However that looks for you.
And let's take a nice deep breath in.
Hold it and release.
Just as you exhale,
Releasing that tension,
That stress,
That anxiety,
Sadness,
Whatever those sort of negative emotions are.
Just release it.
So let's do that again.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Really deep.
Hold in that gorgeous,
Beautiful oxygen and release.
Releasing tension,
Stress.
Again,
This is your time for you.
So as we sit in the stillness for just a few minutes,
It's not going to be very long.
I will keep the time,
Of course.
I want you to say over and over again to yourself,
Thank you.
However,
Thank you looks to you.
If you want to say thank you to people you know in spirit that have passed,
If you want to say thank you to yourself for giving yourself this time.
If you want to just sort of send a mental message to someone else in the world saying thank you.
Or if you want to say thank you to spirit,
To God.
Let's just repeat over and over again.
Thank you.
I will keep the time.
And remember,
This is your time.
And let's begin.
