Welcome.

My name is Libby Lussier,

And I'll be your guide for this bedtime deep rest meditation.

This is a soft,

Slow,

Calming meditation for deep rest,

And it's designed to help your body unwind and your nervous system to soften while your spirit gently closes the channel for the night.

Before we begin,

If you choose,

You may pause this audio and prepare by taking a warm shower or a bath,

Or perhaps enjoying a cup of tea.

Or you may simply take a few slow,

Deep breaths and allow some soft music to play.

Now that you're settled,

We begin.

Beloved,

This is your time to settle,

To soften,

And to return home to yourself.

You've done enough for today,

And you are enough today.

And now,

Your body is ready to rest.

So I invite you to find a comfortable position for the night as you rest your body.

Close your eyes and take a slow breath in.

And exhale gently.

Allow your shoulders to drop,

Your jaw to loosen,

And your belly to soften into your breath.

Beloved,

Tonight you are releasing all that does not belong to you.

Anything that you've carried for others,

Anything that you've managed or tended to or held.

You may set it all down now.

Quietly whisper to yourself,

I release what is not mine,

And I welcome peace into my body.

Allow your breath to deepen naturally.

Inhale for a count of four,

And exhale for a count of six.

Feel your exhale guiding your nervous system into safety,

Into warmth,

And into stillness.

Now imagine a soft,

Warm light,

A golden glow rising gently from the base of your spine,

Filling your belly with comfort and ease.

This light is your own energy returning to you.

It's your sovereignty,

Your wholeness,

Your calm.

Now allow this light to spread through your chest,

Your shoulders,

Into your arms,

And your throat,

And into your mind.

If anything from the day arises,

A thought,

A conversation,

Just notice it drifting to the edge of your awareness,

Like a feather carried on a breeze.

And bless it,

And then let it go.

And whisper softly,

Let today be enough.

Now feel the weight of your body resting into the bed.

Feel the support beneath you,

And the safety holding you.

You are here,

You are grounded,

And you are loved.

And now place a hand on your heart,

Or your belly,

And feel the warmth of your own touch.

Let it remind you that you are safe,

And that rest is not something you must earn,

It's something you deserve.

Tonight,

Beloved,

Your spirit is closing the channel.

Your intuitive body is resting.

Your mind is unwinding,

And your cells are softening.

Quietly whisper to God,

Or your guides,

Or to your own inner light,

Thank you.

I'm off the channel for the night.

You may speak to me in dreams,

Or welcome me into silence.

But for now,

I rest.

And now take one last slow,

Gentle breath in,

And allow your whole body to exhale.

Allow yourself to feel held.

And as you drift towards sleep,

Remember this,

You are safe,

You are cared for,

And you are being guided,

Even in stillness,

Even in quiet,

Even in rest.

Good night,

Beloved.

May peace wrap around you.

May light restore you.

May you wake renewed,

Restored,

And held in grace.
