I wanted to create a specific Sleep Series of Guided Meditations just for you. Rest and sleep are fundamentally important to our overall health and well-being but due to our busy lives and overactive minds, they can sometimes be difficult to achieve. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is rest! Created from my heart and made with love... sweet dreams! Image thanks to Sdf Rahbar on Unsplash

Welcome to your guided meditation and please take all the time that you need to settle into a safe and very comfortable position,

Ensuring that all of your external needs are met and making no compromise on your comfort.

Gently closing down your eyes and bringing your awareness inwards,

Grounding yourself into this space by gently deepening your breath.

Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly.

Notice the sensation of your breath going in and out through your nostrils.

Using no effort at all as your body and mind starts to relax.

Imagine now that you are stood at the top of a set of stairs.

You can see nine steps in front of you and you have the inner knowing that these nine steps will lead you to a sanctuary of rest and relaxation.

Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.

And on the breath out,

Take one step down to the step number nine.

Take another slow breath in and on the breath out,

Take another step down to number eight.

And continue the rest in your own time,

Counting and stepping down to zero.

On every breath out,

Feel yourself becoming more calm,

More rested and more relaxed.

The more you let go,

The deeper you will be held and supported.

When you reach zero,

You step off into pure white sand.

Take a moment to feel the grounding sensations of the soft,

Warm sand under your feet.

As you look around,

There is white sand for as far as you can see.

The ocean is warm,

Calm and inviting.

And as you gaze out to the horizon,

There is a vast expanse of bright blue sky.

It is picture perfect and you stand in awe,

Mesmerized by the beautiful scene in front of you,

Mother Nature at her finest.

And you become aware that there is no one else around and it is so blissfully peaceful.

You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

You are aware of a light,

Soft breeze.

You can hear the gentle sounds of the ocean lapping on the shore.

You notice the smell of the salty air.

You take a sip of your favorite drink and enjoy the taste as it trickles down your throat.

Notice your footprints in the sand and some beautiful shells nearby.

You notice a small piece of driftwood.

You pick it up and slowly write your name in the sand.

Take a step back and look at your name.

The name that has carried you through your whole life.

As you do,

A small wave comes in closer.

It catches a part of your name and washes it away.

Just watch as several gentle waves creep in and softly take your name back to the ocean.

You find the most perfect space for you to lie down and to rest your body and your mind.

Imagine the feelings and the sensations of calm,

Of peace.

In this moment you have nothing else to do and nowhere else to be.

You have no worries,

You have no cares and you have no concerns.

This is a perfect place where you can simply rest,

Relax,

Reset,

Recover and simply enjoy being present at your very own beautiful beach oasis.

You are so worthy and so deserving of this rest.

So take this precious time to drift off into a peaceful,

Relaxing,

Restful,

Deep sleep.
