This meditation is a spontaneous offering that was lovingly produced by Emily Toner. The focus is on the breath and the body as a vehicle for awareness of what is, to notice the presence of oneself underneath all phenomena. Much Love, Luke.

Sitting comfortably.

Just becoming aware of the inhale and the exhale.

We're not trying to manipulate our breath in any way.

If anything we can notice a feeling sensing response to the inhale and a feeling sensing response to the exhale.

Whatever's happening within the body,

Within your whole being.

Being curious and discovering for yourself.

And then if possible,

Relinquishing the story about what that noticing means.

An active mind is simply a habit.

It does not tell you who you are.

Strong emotions come and go.

They don't tell you who you are.

The best ideas and greatest inspirations.

Move through us.

Come and go.

They are not who we are.

Feeling the breath.

Noticing the breath through your whole being.

Combine the awareness of your breath and the awareness of your feet.

Your toes.

Your ankles.

The breath,

And the awareness of your feet.

Any sensations.

Noticing the aliveness of your breath and the prana in your feet.

Bring the awareness to the lower legs.

Prana and the breath and this physical part of your body.

The knees and the thighs.

Simply giving your attention to it.

The aliveness of the cells.

The prana or the life force.

The hips,

Pelvic area.

Into the belly.

With the belly awareness comes a gently deeper breath.

Awareness of the spine.

The central column of your being.

The sensation is what it is.

If the mind wants to tell stories about sensations,

They are somehow good or bad.

Just let the awareness focus on the breath.

Combine the breath awareness and the central column awareness.

Discover what wants to happen.

You are not telling your being what to do.

We allow what arises.

And allow what goes.

Feeling the life force in the whole upper body,

The chest,

The solar plexus.

Into the shoulders,

The arms.

The hands,

The fingertips.

Back up into the shoulders,

The neck,

The throat.

Into the head,

The forehead and the crown.

Feeling the life force through the whole being.

The presence of your existence.
