Welcome to your forgiveness meditation.
I ask you to find a quiet space.
You're sitting upstream,
Laying down.
Do you find that position?
Do you find that position?
Find all the areas of your body that aren't relaxed.
Relax them now.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your arms and your hands.
Relax your back.
Relax your legs and your feet.
Relax your heart.
Relax your mind.
Just breathe in very deeply a couple of times.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Someone's hurt you.
You've said something.
You've done something.
Just brought you mental,
Emotional,
And or physical pain.
It's made you question how much this person deserves love.
Maybe forgiveness too.
However,
When we hold onto resentment,
We hold onto this pain.
We're hurting ourselves.
In fact,
Forgiving this person or this event is an act of self-love.
I ask you to bring forth this person or this group of people or this event you have recently gone through.
Maybe it's from the past and it's being surfaced again.
For you to release and let go.
Ask right now,
Either in your head or out loud.
Talk to these people or this event,
Releasing everything that hurt you in this occurrence.
Tell them why you're mad.
Why you're disappointed.
Share everything that's on your mind right now.
Tears need to come.
Take a deep breath in.
Take a deep breath in.
Let out.
If you've gotten all of that off your chest,
Flex your shoulders again.
Flex your jaw.
Flex your face.
When someone's in pain,
When someone's been triggered,
You're reacting to these feelings and thoughts.
Coming from a place of pain and pain.
Fear.
You communicate in love right now.
You do not know exactly why they are the way that they are.
Heal people heal people.
Take this time now,
Put yourself in their shoes.
Might not be easy.
Consider how they grew up.
Maybe they had a parent say the same things that they said to you.
Maybe they were told the same things they told you.
This is a time to offer compassion.
Worrying of forgiveness.
I forgive you.
I'm sorry that you are hurting.
I pray you find the healing that you need.
Send your love now.
Another deep breath in.
And out.
Now is the time to consider all the ways you were grateful.
Grateful because you know more,
You're wiser.
You love deeper.
Your heart's expanding.
You learned some very valuable lessons.
Visit this experience.
Everything does happen for a reason.
Everything is interconnected.
So now is a perfect time to say to this person why you're grateful.
You're grateful for them in your journey.
You would erase the past.
You would erase the wise knowledge that you have today.
You would erase all of the lessons that you've been taught.
You would erase all the ways that you've helped people because of the high-briars experience.
You would erase the possibility and potential of helping many other people.
So there is a reason why this happened.
Even if it doesn't make sense.
Everything is okay.
Take a couple deep breaths in.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Release it.
Release it all.
Surrender it.
Let it go.
Moving on to this only causes you more pain and suffering.
Let it go.
