In this short Gratitude Meditation we connect to our breath, feel how Gratitude connects and send out Gratitude to the Universe. What you are actively thankful for, the Universe will send you more of. So start your day right by saying thank you.

I welcome you to a meditation of gratitude.

Take a bit of time for yourself,

Sit down in a comfortable manner,

Have your back up straight,

Close your eyes,

Relax your face and start to connect with your breath.

Feel it coming in,

Feel it in your stomach and your chest and feel how your body is moving with it.

And then I'd like you to start feeling the air around you.

Start to feel how your body connects with it in a constant flow.

And when you breathe in,

I would like you to send out the thought of gratitude to the air around you.

Just say thank you.

And when you breathe out,

Say thank you.

And see how this gratitude connects you to the air around you.

And then I'd like you to start feeling the movement of the air around you.

And even if there's no wind where you are,

There's always movement in the air.

I would like you to start feeling that.

Start to feel where is that air that you're breathing in coming from?

Where is the air that you're breathing out going to?

And see if you can expand your attention,

Your focus,

To the air around you,

To the space around you.

Maybe you can feel and connect with the air of the entire room where you are.

Maybe you're outside.

See how far you can go with your attention.

And then come to your breath in and out with the idea of thankfulness for your body,

Keeping you alive in this constant flow of breathing.

And I would like you to think about one thing that you would like to be thankful for.

Maybe something you didn't manage to be thankful for before,

But you actually are supposed to or you want to be thankful for.

Whatever comes to your mind,

This is the right thing to think about today.

And just say,

I am thankful.

Maybe it's your job,

Maybe it's your car,

Your relationship,

A friendship,

Your children.

It's so easy to forget to be thankful.

So just in your mind say the sentence,

I am thankful for this.

And just see what it feels like.

Just observe.

Maybe something in your system has just changed a bit.

So we want to use this time to send out our gratitude.

Because whatever it is that you are thankful for,

Actively thankful for,

The universe is going to send you more of.

So I'd like you to take this time today for gratitude.

In your mind,

Formulate sentences of,

I am thankful for my healthy body.

Even if you have diseases in your right hand,

Be thankful for the healthy left hand.

Be thankful for as many things,

Small things,

Big things,

As you can.

Think about the things that you would like to keep,

The things that you would like to have more of.

I am thankful for this healthy food,

For my home,

Whatever it is.

Take some time.

Think about what gratitude do you want to send out.

What would you like to receive?

And when you're done,

I would like you to observe what does it feel like.

This frequency of gratitude is a peaceful,

Joyful frequency.

I would like you to think about your heart now,

Because that's where gratitude comes from.

And send out this frequency of gratitude,

Of thankfulness,

To your entire body.

Send it out to your arms,

To your fingers,

Till you reach your fingertips.

Send it out to your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet and your toes.

Send it out to your shoulders,

Your head,

Even your hair,

Because that has energy too.

And stay with this image for a bit,

Of sending out gratitude from your heart.

And see what it feels like.

Maybe you feel like a lightly illuminated sun.

Maybe you feel like a bed of roses,

Whatever it is.

Stay with this image for a while and just enjoy.

Keep on breathing.

And then you can stay with this image,

This feeling for a while,

Until you're ready to start your day or your night.

Or you can come out of this right now.

Whatever you do,

I would like you to stay with this feeling that you have right now,

Because I would like you to understand the frequency of gratitude more and more.

So if you're ready,

Take some last inhale and exhale and start your day or your night.
