Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.

To begin,

First find a comfortable seated position or you may lie down.

Allow your body to completely relax and allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm.

Close your eyes and bring your awareness to this present moment.

As you breathe in,

Feel the expansion of life within you.

As you breathe out,

Feel the gentle release of tension,

As if letting go of the need to control or grasp.

Now take a moment to consider the thoughts and feelings you have about life and death.

For many of us,

The thought of death is troubling,

As it represents the inevitable end to our existence.

We view life as a precious,

One-time opportunity at existence,

And when death comes,

That existence is over.

But I invite you to shift your perspective.

Consider this.

Before you were born,

You did not exist.

There was a time when the essence of who you are had not yet manifested in this world.

And yet,

Here you are.

From non-existence,

Existence emerged,

Just as it did for you.

Now I invite you to reflect on this truth.

If you emerged from so-called non-existence once,

Why assume that death,

As a return to non-existence,

Is final?

Your current existence at this very moment suggests that non-existence is not a permanent state,

But rather,

A phase from which life can manifest.

Feel into this realization.

Inhale the understanding that life and death are not absolute states,

But parts of a continuous cycle.

Feel the fear,

The worry,

And the belief that death is an end.

Death is not an end,

But a return to the unmanifest potentiality from which life springs.

Imagine the unmanifest as a vast ocean of possibilities,

And your life as a wave that rises from it.

When the wave returns to the ocean,

It doesn't disappear.

It simply merges back into the source.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Allow yourself to embrace the mystery of your existence.

Recognize that the essence of your being transcends the boundaries of both birth and death.

You are part of a grand cycle,

A dance of manifestation and return.

In this moment,

Let go of the fear of death.

Instead,

Open your heart to the wonder of life,

Knowing that just as you have emerged from non-existence,

So too does the potential for life always remain.

The essence of who you are is timeless,

Ever-present,

And beyond the confines of beginning or end.

Now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room,

To the sensations of your body,

And to the flow of your breath.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying with you the peace and understanding that life is a beautiful,

Ongoing journey.
