Welcome,

Beloved friend.

I'm so glad you're here right now,

In this perfect moment.

Today,

We're going to take a gentle look at the idea of time.

Not as we've been taught to see it,

But through the lens of truth.

What if the peace you've been searching for isn't in the future,

Or buried in the past,

But is here,

Now,

Waiting for you to recognize it?

Together,

Let's explore this idea.

Not to figure it out or analyze it,

But to open a space for a shift in perception.

Something deep within you,

Beyond the roles you play and the challenges you face,

Knows that there's a better way to live.

A way that isn't about struggle,

Conflict,

Or trying to fix what feels broken,

But about discovering the unshakable peace that is already within you.

In today's series,

We are talking about the illusion of time.

Now take a deep breath,

And settle into this moment.

Time.

It's something we think about constantly.

Something that seems to shape our entire lives.

But what if time isn't what we think it is?

What if it's not an absolute truth,

But simply a mental construct?

You see,

Time is a way our minds organize events into past,

Present,

And future.

And while that's helpful in navigating the physical world,

It can also become a trap.

A tool the ego uses to keep us distracted.

The ego loves to pull us away from the only reality there is,

The present moment.

It fixates on the past,

Replaying guilt,

Regret,

Or nostalgia,

Keeping us stuck in old stories that reinforce fear and separation.

Then it projects into the future,

Planting seeds of anxiety,

Fear,

Or the idea that happiness is somewhere ahead,

Always just out of reach.

But here's the truth.

The past is only a memory.

The future,

It's just an imagined possibility.

The present moment is all there ever is.

This moment,

Right now,

Is where the power of life resides.

It's where you can feel whole,

Complete,

And deeply connected to the divine.

In this eternal now,

There's no striving,

No scarcity,

No fear.

So how does the ego use time against us?

It creates a sense of urgency and lack with thoughts like,

You're running out of time,

You missed your chance,

Happiness,

Will come someday when you achieve this,

Fix that,

Or find the perfect something.

This constant mental chatter distracts you from the abundance already available in this moment.

It keeps you in a cycle of striving,

Searching,

And feeling like you're never enough.

But here's the good news.

You can step out of the ego's game.

You can choose to pause and shift your awareness to the present.

In that pause,

You'll discover that everything you truly need,

Peace,

Love,

Joy,

Is already within you.

Time loses its grip because these gifts are timeless.

As A Course in Miracles teaches,

Time is a learning device,

Not a reality.

It's a tool,

A tool to help us practice forgiveness,

Let go of illusions,

And choose love over fear.

So how do we live beyond the illusion of time?

First,

Pause and breathe.

When stress or overwhelm arises,

Stop,

Take a deep breath and bring your attention fully to the present.

Question the ego story.

Ask yourself,

Is this thought about the past or future really helping me?

Or is it keeping me stuck?

Invite a higher perspective.

Through prayer or meditation,

Ask for guidance to see things differently.

Trust that clarity will come.

Anchor in gratitude.

Notice the beauty and abundance that exist right here,

Right now.

Gratitude is a powerful way to ground yourself in the present.

And finally,

Practice forgiveness.

Let go of judgements about yourself,

About others.

Release the past and open yourself to the peace of this moment.

Remember,

Time isn't the enemy.

It's our relationship with it that creates suffering.

When you align with the truth that the present moment is all there is,

You free yourself from the ego's illusions.

The eternal now is where peace resides.

It's where you meet your true self beyond all concepts of time.

And in this awareness,

You're free.

Free to experience life as it truly is.

Whole,

Abundant and deeply connected to love.

So take one more deep breath.

And as you exhale,

Let yourself rest in this moment.

Thank you for being here,

For pausing to explore this idea with me.

As you move forward,

Remember that the present moment is always available to you.

It's where peace resides,

Untouched by the ego.

It's where you meet the illusions of past and future.

Let this be an invitation to notice the times when the ego tries to pull you into fear or regret,

And gently choose instead to rest in the now.
