Get Better Sleep Through Cognitive And Circadian Science

With Juna Bobby MD, EdM

Engagement is the most effective way to change our brain patterns. In order to make real changes, action must follow knowledge. Kindly note that this course guides you to actively participate in creating your own routine. If you're here, you've probably had a few sleepless nights however, I want you to know that as a human being, your biology is destined to get the sleep it needs. So why do more than 70 million people in the US alone, and more worldwide, suffer from sleep problems? As with most modern lifestyle problems, it's a combination of our mental and physical states interacting and reacting to our environment. After completing this course, you will become more aware of what's getting in the way of a good night's sleep, have three key tools you can use anytime, anywhere to manage the emotions that sabotage sleep, and develop a personal sleep routine that works for you. **Course Objectives:** 1. Understand what's getting in the way of a good night sleep 2. Apply emotional management tools to reduce stress and anxiety 3. Develop a personalized sleep routine and system to help you fall asleep and stay asleep There's a classroom where you can ask me questions. I'm here to support you and I love hearing from you. I know you're ready to start getting restful sleep. So designate a clean notebook and pen to use just for this course. I'll see you in lesson 1!

An enjoyable brief exploration into basic sleep science with a meditation slant. Many very good ideas explored, however this is not a guided meditation course, much more of an overview. I enjoyed it nonetheless and would advise others to try it.
