Hello everyone and welcome to the meditation channel.
This is a guided meditation designed to help you be productive and to be focused on the tasks at hand for the day.
This is a great meditation for people who procrastinate or have a hard time focusing.
So whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes,
Get yourself in a comfortable position and listen to my voice.
Begin to relax,
Begin to centre,
Begin to breathe and just be as present as you can be with nothing else but your breath.
Slow down the breath,
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils and the warm air exiting.
If your mind begins to drift,
Just bring it back to your breath.
Just keep doing that for a few more breaths.
And just notice how the body,
The nervous system begins to relax just a little more.
And as you continue to breathe,
I want you to set your intention for today.
What is it that you are trying to achieve?
What is it that you are trying to accomplish and succeed at today?
And I want you now to instruct your mind of this intention.
Literally tell your mind,
Today I want to achieve and then finish the sentence.
Beautiful,
And now just let it go,
Returning back to your breath.
So to begin with,
I want you to ask yourself why you veer off course.
What is the story,
The excuses,
The reasons as to why you feel that you cannot concentrate?
And as you do this,
Notice the resistance showing up in your body,
Maybe the frustration,
The anger,
Whatever it may be.
Notice your body reacting to this thought.
Notice how you emotionally contract.
And as this is happening with your breath,
I want you to breathe into that part of your body where you feel the most amount of tension and tightness.
And with each breath in,
I want you to tell yourself,
It is safe for me to succeed.
It is safe for me to win.
Breathing in that intention to that part of your body and visualize it expanding and relaxing and opening up,
Relieving you of that tension,
Relieving you of that resistance.
Keep repeating,
Keep focusing.
And now I want you to tell yourself,
I am in charge of my decisions.
I choose what I can and cannot do.
I no longer give power to the outside world because the outside world is a reflection of my inner world.
I take full ownership.
And once again,
If you notice any resistance,
Just notice where it is in your body.
And once again,
Breathe into that part of your body and say to yourself,
It is safe for me to win.
It is safe for me to be focused.
And expand that energy once again,
Relieving that tightness,
Releasing that tension.
I invite you to do this practice every time you catch yourself procrastinating.
You need to stop,
Find the resistance and release it and reprogram your mind.
Now,
Begin to focus on your day.
What are you trying to achieve today?
What is your intention?
And just notice if you feel overwhelmed.
Notice what the story,
Notice the doubt,
Maybe the insecurities that come up as you focus.
And once again,
Breathing in,
Find that tension and tell yourself,
I am fully capable of achieving and accomplishing my intention and my goals today.
It is safe for me to win.
It is safe for me to achieve.
And inviting in that relaxation,
That openness,
That expansion,
We're essentially resetting our nervous system.
Breathing in and breathing out as you continue to focus on your day and what you wish to achieve.
Shifting the frequency of fear and panic into an exciting,
Open adventure,
A challenge you know 120% that you can achieve,
Confidence.
And so with each breath,
You keep building that confidence,
That clarity,
That direction that sharpness,
Like a laser beam,
Nothing can sway you.
And I want you now to visualize yourself at the end of your day,
Having accomplished everything.
Not allowing yourself to veer off track,
To be fully focused and see how you feel.
Notice yourself looking back at your day.
Notice the thoughts,
The emotions that come up.
Above all,
Notice the fact that you are telling yourself,
I knew I could do this.
I always could.
Confidence is built over practice and evidence.
That is all you have to do.
Build the evidence and continue to practice.
And so returning back to this moment here and now where you are,
I'm placing your hand on your heart and I want you to take a moment to honor yourself and respect yourself.
When you choose to move forward with focus without distraction,
You respect yourself.
And so what is one promise you can give yourself today?
One promise you know you can keep?
And understand that each time you veer off course,
You deceive yourself and no one else.
You only hurt yourself.
Even though you mean to do good.
So with love,
With kindness and with forgiveness today,
Love yourself,
Show up for yourself.
Tell yourself,
I respect you.
I love you.
I am here for you.
I am ready to show up and shine.
Thank you for being by my side and thank you for helping me.
And so keep breathing in,
Keep breathing out that tension,
That resistance,
That fear.
I'm beginning to settle in this new version of you.
The focus,
The strength,
The confidence,
The clarity.
Embracing fully this new identity and notice how it shifts your energy.
Notice how good this feels.
One more thing before we finish.
If it's hard for you to commit for yourself,
I invite you to make this mission bigger than yourself.
Oftentimes,
Our inner child is the one that we wish to impress or help or heal.
And so if not for you,
Do it for them.
Prove to them who you've become.
Prove to them everything.
And so with them in your heart and with this new self,
This new powerful self,
Send this intention out for your day.
Beautiful.
And so we're going to slowly begin the journey back now.
Slowly,
Slowly expanding your awareness back out.
I invite you now just to be aware of your surroundings,
The temperature of the air,
The clothes,
Or wherever you may be seated or lying down.
And so take a few deep breaths in and out.
A few deep breaths in now just to gently and lovingly wake up the body.
And when it feels right now,
Begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Maybe give yourself a good stretch,
Whatever feels good and right to you.
And when it's time,
Open your eyes.
