Hello,

Good morning.

It's time for our daily affirmation,

Inspiration,

And mindful journaling prompt.

Today we are on inspiration 341.

I listen and hear what I already know.

You trust your inner wisdom and intuition.

You know that they are powerful tools that can guide you towards your true purpose and desires.

You know that the answers you seek are already within you and that all you need to do is listen and trust yourself.

You are open to receiving guidance and insights from the universe and you know that they will come to you when you are ready.

You approach life with a sense of curiosity and wonder and you are constantly learning and growing.

You know that your journey towards self-discovery is ongoing and that there is always more to learn and explore.

The piece that really stands out for me today is that they,

Guidance and insights,

Will come to you when you're ready.

Ain't that the truth?

We're not always ready to hear the truth or what we need to know.

An example of that.

When my marriage was blowing up,

And this was seven years ago,

I had had several people tell me over years that my ex was selfish and was self-centered and narcissistic.

I readied to hear it.

I was not ready to accept that.

Not the least of which was because I couldn't even comprehend somebody having absolutely zero empathy for another human being.

I was trying to keep my family together.

I was just trying to keep everything together because I thought that my sheer willpower could do it.

Kismas had been slipping for quite some time.

When I was finally ready to see it and hear all those nudges,

Not just my friends and therapists and family telling me this,

But also that little voice in my head going,

Something's not right.

Something's not right here.

I wasn't ready until that.

This is true for anything in our lives.

We are not always ready.

We think we are.

We want to be,

Especially when we want something really desperately to happen.

We aren't ready.

When something isn't happening the way that I think it should be,

I ask myself,

Am I ready for this?

Is there something inside me that isn't ready for this next step?

That self-reflection is really super important.

And sometimes it might be limiting beliefs.

It might be past trauma that we're still dealing with.

But regardless,

Pushing through it isn't always going to get you where you want to be because you're not ready when you are ready.

You'll know it.

Things will happen easily.

They will be lovely,

Better than you ever dreamed they would be.

When you're listening for your intuition,

Have patience because you're not always ready to hear what the universe and your inner wisdom is trying to tell you.

Your mindful journaling prompt for today is how can I trust and act on inner insights that I receive?

Let me know what comes up for you in the comments.
