
Coming To Center For Releasing And Recharging

This is a guided journey meditation that brings you home to your center. While using breath and visualization the experience brings in grounding, rooting, and releasing. It also works with your energy and recharges this part of you so that you can feel relaxed, replenished, and recalibrated.
Transcript
All right,
I invite you to just come right on in,
Figuratively,
Wherever you are,
Make yourself comfortable,
Find a spot out of the way,
Allow yourself to settle in.
And I invite you right now to come forward and let's bring our palms together right in front of our heart,
Our solar plexus,
And just drop right into our heart,
Making yourself comfortable,
But really just dropping into your heart.
Give yourself permission that this time is for you and that we're stepping back home.
And if you'd like,
Go ahead and you can relax your hands and arms and just rest them in front of you,
Whatever is comfortable.
And at this time,
I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath,
If comfortable in through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth,
Allowing yourself to follow whatever pace your breath wants to take.
But as we bring in the breath and bring our awareness right there,
What we're doing is starting to become present with ourselves.
We're allowing everything else around us in the environment,
In the outer world,
In the past and the future,
Just to take a seat,
Just to be in the waiting room on the shelf.
And it's okay,
Know that you will come back.
Continue and follow and be with your breath,
Realizing that the inhalation is the bringing in of the new,
The fresh.
And that each exhalation is a way of releasing,
Releasing the stale,
The stagnant,
The old.
And as you continue with your breath,
I invite you to bring your awareness back to your heart,
Almost stepping right inside yourself right there in that space and place that originates with love.
Not the love that's been wounded from hurt or happenings,
But just pure love.
The lightness to it,
The joy,
The illumination,
Not attached to anything but absolute pure light and love right in your center.
Now I invite you to bring your awareness as you continue with the breath,
But bring your awareness to your whole body.
So as you bring in the inhalation,
You may notice where the breath is coming in and imagine it filling your body,
Filling your whole body.
And then the exhalation,
Releasing.
Now as you continue with your breath,
I want you to remember that you are in your center,
That you've come home to that.
We have to locate a place,
That heart,
That heart chakra.
And as I mentioned the word chakra,
We are introducing that we also are a body of energy.
And so as you inhale,
Allow that your aspect,
Your energy,
Your body of energy expands and fills up your whole physical body,
Your head,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your fingers,
Your legs,
Your trunk,
Your knees,
Your feet.
And just bring your awareness to that energy within you.
Some cultures study chakras.
Some cultures study meridians.
And I'm inviting you to bring your awareness that you are energy.
And as you breathe in,
Allow that your energy is just getting bigger.
And as you breathe out,
You're just releasing anything that needs to be shed.
Now holding your awareness with your energy,
I invite you to track it from your body downward,
Bringing the awareness of the energy in your legs,
Extending down below your knees,
Down to your ankles and your feet.
And I invite you now to imagine that that energy,
That part of you extending down into the floor and down into the earth.
And track that energy going down further into the earth,
Deep,
Deep down into the earth.
Allowing your breath and the cycles of breath to still the inhalation through the nose and exhalation through the mouth,
Bringing your awareness back to your light being reaching down and anchoring deep into the earth,
Almost like roots of a tree,
Really anchoring in and allowing your breath just to regulate to whatever is comfortable.
Allowing your breath and your body to just sync up with the rhythm of the earth and just allowing that flow.
And you may find that your breath is slowing,
Seems to be getting a bit deeper and the inhalation may every once in a while be a bit larger.
Whatever it is,
Allow it.
We're not looking to change everything.
We're not looking to control anything.
We're looking to be at home in our own presence,
Really rooting into the earth,
Grounding our energy and our being and our body right now in this time and space.
When we're able to do this,
This really helps with resetting the sympathetic nervous system,
Bringing it back into alignment,
Resetting the fight,
Flight,
Or freeze,
Just bringing it home.
And now as you have your energy extending deep into the earth,
Rooting into the earth,
Feeling that solidness,
That stability,
That strength,
That support,
And you may see it in your mind's eye,
That's good.
You may feel it.
Allow your whole body just to receive it however it is.
And I invite you to expand a little bit.
And now I also invite you,
If there is anything that you are holding that you've not been aware of,
And if your mind engages and starts,
You know,
Running away with all these things just give it a nod,
Say,
Thank you,
We've got this,
Meaning your whole being,
And drop deeper back into the heart and give yourself permission,
Ask the heart,
Wow,
If there is anything that I'm carrying that I don't need to carry anymore,
Let's give it to the earth.
Help me drop it,
Help me release it.
For the earth holds everything that every living being tends to slough off with care or in carelessness.
And what the earth does is takes anything and composts,
Sorts it,
Sifts it,
Breaks it down,
Pulls things out,
And helps with transmuting or changing one energy to another.
So I invite you,
If there are things that you know you want to release,
Go ahead and just set them on the earth.
And you can also ask yourself,
If there are things that are not mine to carry,
Please allow me to give these to the earth as well.
And it's okay if you don't know what they are.
This is really more a time of releasing that which no longer serves us.
I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath,
Follow it for another two cycles.
And now I ask that you shift your awareness to that beautiful rooting or anchoring into the earth.
And now open the awareness that you can also draw up,
Like the roots of a tree,
Like the roots of a plant.
You can draw up within you the energy that you need,
A recharging,
Per se.
You've chosen to take this time to give yourself the stillness,
To give yourself the centering,
To give yourself the presence right in your center,
Coming home.
And I invite you to draw up from the earth energy,
Life force,
Coming home,
Recharging.
And visually imagine this coming up into the ground,
Your feet,
Moving up the ankles,
Your lower legs,
Past your knees,
Your upper legs,
Into the trunk of your body,
Right up to your chest,
Your ribs,
The expansion to your arms,
Coming up to your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your head,
And allowing that your body is really recharging and filling up.
And then I invite you to come back to the head where that energy is and allow it to open up and extend upward,
Even higher,
Going into the universe,
Allowing it to go up into the energy of all.
And you may feel it actually moving up and out and connecting higher.
And then I invite you to bring that awareness and track it from upward,
Now moving downward back to your crown,
The top of your head down into your body,
The third eye,
The throat chakra,
The heart,
The solar plexus,
The sacral,
The root,
And connecting again deep into the earth and allow and be aware all at the same time of the movement and the energy flow.
Come back to your center and receive this energy and expand it right from your core,
Right from your center.
Allow it to expand and fill you completely.
And now as you breathe in again,
Allow this expansion to move beyond your physical body and expand even a little bit further out.
And as you take another inhale,
Allow it to expand even more and be aware of this energy and how your body is feeling.
Just be aware,
Just observe,
Be curious.
Do you feel different?
Do you feel temperature?
What is it like?
And if you think about the earth and the sky and your body right in between you being the connection and you holding the light and you receiving and being filled,
What's that like?
So now I invite you to figuratively reach up with your hands into the sky as high as they can go and pull this column of light back down towards you,
Gently touching the sides of the top of your head and just say,
Thank you.
And now figuratively,
I invite you to reach your hands and your arms down low toward the earth,
Toward the ground,
And go ahead and hold on to that light and pull it upward and bring it back to your feet and say,
Thank you,
And just be in gratitude.
And now bringing yourself into your body completely,
I invite you to just feel the strength,
Roll your shoulders back,
Hold your head up a little bit,
Coming back into your center and bring forward just a little bit of gratitude.
And I invite you to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Allow a smile to come across your face.
For you have given yourself this time just to reset,
To recharge,
And to release.
So when you're ready,
Allow movement to come within your hands,
Your feet,
And come forward so that you can continue with the rest of your day.
