Welcome to the practice of yoga nidra.

Begin to create a container of safety where the mind can become at ease and be coaxed inward away from external sense,

Away from the desire to be connected outward,

And a tether back into the center of you.

Cultivate a soft body by first creating tension from the toes of your feet through the calves,

Quads,

Right and left butt cheek,

Low belly,

Low back,

Tension building from the toes into the belly,

Into the chest,

Into the upper back,

Both arms,

All 10 fingers squeezing tightly,

Clench jaw,

Forced eyes closed,

Forehead creased,

Breath still flowing,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

And then begin to release with your exhale.

Let the whole body drop into an absolute state of melting where the muscle pools around the bone and the bones sink heavily into the muscles.

And you have created a bed of absolute comfort where there is no clinging,

No holding,

No gripping of any tensions,

Letting go of the physical body tension with awareness,

Knowing where the emotional tension lies and using the exhale to wash it away.

And the mental tension that exists in the face,

The shoulders,

The neck,

The throat,

All begins to release as the mind finds its anchor.

When the mind finds the breath way,

It becomes settled into ease.

And in this moment,

The only action is non-action.

There is nothing that you can solve inside the mindscape that will change the future or the past.

This is a space of becoming the witness of pure potentiality into the connection of something beyond the auric body,

Beyond the physical body,

Into higher consciousness,

Into the collective mind.

Rest in yourself in this moment and create ultimate ease by supporting the back of the head,

By propping the back of the thighs,

By ensuring that there is no extra weight added to the back of the hips or the skull.

And then lay a blanket over yourself covering toes to armpits.

But let your arms come out and rotate the palms upward as you press lightly into the back of the head and draw the shoulder blades into the spine.

And in this moment,

You have created a pillow for the heart and lungs to fall back on.

And it is here where you can let go of the need to be.

Here you find the state of pure presence,

What it feels like to experience what you're doing.

Right now you are experiencing whole body release and an anchor into the pathway of breath.

The practice of yoga nidra begins now.

Let the whole body drop since the weight of gravity is it connects you into the solid earth beneath you.

And you feel the physical self,

Its edges,

Its corners,

Your whole container.

And then outside of this tangible container,

Which we can see,

Feel and touch,

There exists there exists beyond that an auric body.

And inside of this auric body,

There is an information field stored.

And this information field is impacted by the seven chakras which exist inside and along the spine.

From tail into crown.

And from crown beyond.

Seeing the experience of earth and heavens.

Within the practice of yoga nidra,

We call the mind into an alpha state where we are aware and an active participant into the subconscious mind.

We begin to call and see old stories and old beliefs.

And emotional blockages which exist inside of the body become so apparent when there is an awakened awareness.

The body is sleeping,

But the awareness is still there hovering just underneath the surface.

And that is what separates us from hypnosis.

A practitioner of yoga nidra is an active participant.

And you are working within the state of calm consciousness,

The alpha brain state.

And this is a beautiful brain state to call in your creative spark.

Spontaneous insights are found here.

And the ultimate knowing with no seeking,

No learned studies,

You are simply downloading pure information from the collective.

And in our daily lives,

We have these beliefs that prevent us from fulfilling our dharma,

Our purpose.

And it is our pathway towards these challenges,

Towards these triumphs that take us ever near closer to the dharma that we have assigned ourselves.

Our purpose,

Our essence.

The Sankelpa that we plant is the opposite of the belief system that has been bestowed upon us.

From womb to now,

We have created stories to keep us safe.

And they have absolutely served a purpose up to this point in time.

But at this point in time,

It is safe to let them go as you know,

This is no longer you is no longer in alignment with where you are headed.

And until you release this belief,

You are here.

Your Sankelpa is a conviction statement that is planted into the space of the heart.

And the heart holds a memory like no other so you can trust the heart to store it here.

And in this moment in this space,

Remind your heart,

Remind your heart of its essence three times.

Repeat your Sankelpa so silently,

But with the heartfelt conviction that you know this is you.

I am.

I am.

I am.

Three times your Sankelpa is centered into the heart into the spiritual center of center,

The center of you in the center of the collective.

And this is translated and corresponded into the subconscious mind.

This moment in this brain state is so possible to change that belief system.

With trust,

You can let go of the Sankelpa.

Let go of your Sankelpa.

Release any tension that's existing inside of the physical layer.

And then ask your awareness to be pulled into the right thumb.

And on this journey will stay in the right side body until you are cued to move to the left.

Will travel the whole of the right side body.

Right hand thumb.

Index finger.

Middle finger.

Ring finger.

Baby finger.

Releasing tension as you go awareness pools and the tension melts away.

Palm of your right hand.

Wrist.

Forearm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Shoulder.

Clavicle.

Down the center of the sternum through the whole right rib.

Sternum to spine.

The ribs wrap from sternum to spine.

The soft side waist.

Right hip.

Upper thigh.

Knee.

Lower leg.

Heel.

Sole of the right foot.

The pad of the big toe.

Pad of your second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

Fifth toe.

Whole right side body.

Whole right side body.

Will call awareness into the left hand and settle into the thumb.

And you can feel the neural pathway inside the brain ignite in the left hand thumb.

And we'll channel it into the index finger.

You can sense the index finger.

Let go of any tension.

And move to the middle finger.

Ring finger.

Baby finger.

Sense the energy that exists in the palm of the left hand.

The awareness of left wrist.

Forearm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Shoulder.

Left clavicle.

Down the center of the sternum.

And over the left rib cage.

To connect into the spine.

As it wraps from sternum to spine,

Left rib.

And the soft side waist.

Bony left hip.

Upper leg.

Knee.

Lower leg.

Heel.

Sole of the left foot.

Pad of the big toe.

Pad of your second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

Fifth toe.

Whole left side body.

Whole left side body.

Whole left side body.

And now the practice of rotation of consciousness moves from the back side of the body beginning at the heels and makes its way overhead and down the front side.

Land your conscious awareness into right and left heel.

The back of right and left legs.

Right glute.

Left glute.

Lower back.

Mid back.

Upper back and both shoulder blades.

Down each arm.

Right and left arm.

Back of the neck.

Base of the skull.

Landing at the top of the head.

And washing ease as we move over the face beginning at the forehead.

The veil of the eye.

Right and left.

Tip of the nose.

Softened cheeks.

Upper lip.

Lower lip.

Front of the throat.

Over each clavicle.

And down each arm.

Crossing over the sternum bone.

Right rib.

Left rib.

Belly.

Pelvic bowl.

Both legs together.

Right leg.

Left leg.

All ten toes.

Whole body awareness.

Whole body awareness.

Whole body awareness.

Now begin to feel the breath move as it transitions from ether into the warmth of the nasal cavity.

Down the tube of the throat.

And into both lungs.

And on the exterior of the body you can feel the belly being moved.

And as each breath washes in filling both lungs the belly rises and falls with each cycle of breath.

And your only assignment for the mind is to begin continually witnessing the transition of the inhale to the exhale.

To the inhale.

To the exhale.

And you feel the breath wash any residual tension away from skin,

Muscle,

Bone,

Ligaments,

Bones,

Bones.

Breath washes away any lingering chatter.

Any lingering emotion.

And you are in this experience with your breath.

Feeling the depth.

Feeling the release.

And you are in this perfect cycle of nature.

Receiving and releasing.

Filling up and making space.

The invitation to new.

And the releasing of old.

Stay with the washing of your breath.

As it moves over old belief systems.

Old stories.

Old in the physical body.

And washed away by breath.

Let your breath be called so deeply down the spine that it is pulled into the pelvic bowl.

Where the awareness of breath is fluidly moved through the pelvic bowl.

And at the very base of the spine,

At the base of you,

There is a red glowing chakra.

A spinning wheel of energy that turns in a clockwise direction.

And the breath moves the color.

The inhales burn brighter.

And the exhales burn darker.

You are continually watching this wheel of energy.

Pulse with breath.

With the vibration of prana.

And as this color wheel turns,

There are emotions and feelings and knowings that arrive.

And the sense of stability.

Safety.

Connection to the earth is all here.

Both feet firmly rooted into this earthly existence.

Where you are absolutely free to take up space.

And you can set your stake in the ground.

You can tell the world that you are here.

And this is yours.

And there is entitlement to this chakra.

You have every right to be here in this moment inside of this body.

Taking up space in the world and adding to the collective energy.

With the next inhale,

Pull awareness up the spine just below the navel into the low belly.

And the color of the wheel that turns in the clockwise direction,

Spinning and pulsing,

Is the color orange.

And the feeling of creativity,

Sensuality,

Ease,

Openness,

Grace.

If you have hid from sensuality,

If you have hid from sexuality,

Allow yourself to feel both of those here.

To know that that is an absolute pure nature and there is no shame attached.

Embracing your ultimate sensuality through vulnerability,

Sensuality,

Creativity,

Fluidity,

And awareness moves up the spine,

Stopping below the diaphragm and above the belly button into the brilliance of a thousand suns.

The color is yellow and the wheel spins clockwise.

And you can experience the warmth of the sun as you rest in your will,

As you rest in your own esteem.

This is a power center.

Your space of I am.

The center of your will.

The last stronghold to earthly power.

Earthly attachment.

Your effect on the world all begins here.

How do you see yourself?

And is it the truth?

What is your will?

All of consciousness into the center of the heart where the color green pulsates spinning clockwise in the chakra wheel of the heart.

The color is green and the feeling is harmony.

Here we're blending heaven and earth as the lower chakra meets the upper chakras.

You are at the center of ying and yang.

You are at the center of duality of heaven and earth.

And there is a feeling of peace,

Balance,

And a love that is not romanticized in any way.

One that is ever present,

Never sought,

Never found,

Not deserving,

Not needing.

A love that simply here.

A love that is simply pure.

A love that you are entitled to.

As part of the human experience,

This is yours.

The chakra of the throat at the center of the throat spins in the color blue and spins in the pursuit of truth,

In the pursuit of communication,

Truth.

There is a freedom that exists here,

A freedom that is yours to speak the truth.

You are free to be.

And the inner eye is moved to the center of the forehead,

To the spinning wheel that exists in the midbrain,

Third eye chakra,

Center of the forehead,

Anchored by the pineal and pituitary gland,

Glands that are recognizing of light,

Symbolic of inner seeing.

And the color is indigo.

The chakra spins clockwise and the all-seeing omniscient inner eye is awakened.

Inner knowing,

Self-reflection,

The all-seeing,

That of which sees outward and that of which sees inward,

And this eye has no veil.

Here lies the inner guru,

Your own inner faculty of wisdom.

The color is indigo.

Above the head spins a color wheel of violet,

Untethered to the physical body,

Not held by anything earthly,

Not manifested inside of this body,

But connected to the frequency that you are.

The color is violet.

The wheel spins clockwise.

And it is your connection to the collective.

It is your higher self,

Completely unattached,

Unmanifested,

Free,

Easeful,

And in constant communication with spirit.

From this connection to spirit in this moment with higher self,

You might hear your sankalpa as the highest self tells you that this is your destiny,

Your dharma.

Hearing of who you are beyond the story,

Beyond the intellectual,

Who you are.

Fall back into the center of the heart and release your sankalpa,

Repeating it three times.

Sankalpa,

Sankalpa,

Sankalpa.

There has never been a higher truth.

Sankalpa.

And the heart releases the sankalpa into the very depth of the mind,

The deepest depth that we cannot see,

But we can access through this brain state as the heart releases the sankalpa to the subconscious mind,

The habitual mind.

Welcome back the feeling of heaviness of your body touching the earth.

Welcome back the feeling of support as you release your weight into solid ground.

And you could feel the awakening of the narrowings of the body.

The smallest joints first receive pure prana from each breath.

Pranasas prana swirls into the small joints of the toes,

Ankles,

Fingers,

Wrists,

Neck.

There is an internal awakening,

An externalizing of senses as they bend inward to outward and you are reestablished into the five sensory self.

Make your time awakening.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

Hari Om Tat Sat,

Hari Om Tat Sat,

Hari Om Tat Sat.

Hari Om Tat Sat Sat.
