Good morning.
Take a comfortable seat,
Sitting upright,
With your back supported and your hands in your lap.
Close your eyes and take in a deep inhalation through your nose.
Hold the breath at the top and slowly exhale.
This time on the inhalation,
Bring your shoulders up,
Roll your shoulders up,
Hold the breath and on the exhale,
Push your shoulders back and down.
Let's do that again.
Inhale through your nose,
Shoulders up,
Hold and down.
Again,
Inhale,
Shoulders up,
Hold.
Just keeping your breath steady.
Continue to breathe deeply into your belly,
In through your nose,
Hold,
Now slightly turning up the corners of your mouth and bringing a smile to your lips.
And watch how that changes the way that you feel in your body.
When we smile,
We turn on ourselves,
We send a signal to every cell in our body that we are happy,
That we are okay,
That all is good in our world.
Now,
I want you to bring to the front of your mind one thing that you are deeply grateful for right now.
It could be the sleep that you just had,
Yourself,
Somebody else,
Your health,
Your children,
Your relationship,
Your cozy bed.
Keep smiling and think about what you are grateful for.
And now think of another thing that you're grateful for and really feel the gratitude for that.
Smile,
Feel it in your heart.
Say thank you.
And now think of another thing that you are grateful for.
Really feel gratitude for that thing.
And now something else.
Feel it,
Thank you.
And again,
Something else,
Keeping your eyes closed and if you can,
Say aloud as many things as you possibly can that you are grateful for.
Off you go.
Really feel it.
I am so grateful for,
Keep going.
No matter how big or small,
Keep going.
Find something else,
Smile,
Feel it.
Gratitude changes the biochemistry in your body.
When we express what we are grateful for,
The universe gives us more of that.
When we say together,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
I am so grateful.
I have everything.
Take a deep breath and feel that energy within you.
Hold the breath,
Smile,
Feel that gratefulness swimming through your cells and slowly exhale and placing both hands on your heart and aloud,
Please say thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Take a deep breath.
I am so grateful.
I have everything and exhale and lowering your hands into your lap,
Open your eyes and take this beautiful energy out into your day.
I am so grateful to share this practice with you.
Until next time.
