Hello and Thank you so much for joining me for this mind over endo pain meditation Where we use science-based mindfulness tools to manage your endometriosis stress pain and anxiety When you're ready I Invite you to close your eyes Or keep an unfocused gaze in front of you Whichever you prefer Sitting up straight or lying down Your head Shoulders Belly and full body Slowly relaxing We'll start by just regulating ourselves especially if you're in any pain Getting us into our rest and digest And out of that terrible physiological feeling of fight-or-flight So we'll just take a deep breath in through the nose An extra quick inhale feeling all the way up And a deep exhale out just sighing it out One more time deep breath in through the nose An extra quick inhale filling all the way up And a deep exhale out So good If You're experiencing any pain worry or anxiety today I'm so sorry warrior We'll try our best to distract your body and mind By just noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest And the natural rhythm of your breathing Watch as it flows in and out of your body with ease Allowing any thoughts or bad energy To just flow out of you with every breath As you feel your body relaxing Just picture a tangled ball of rope Sitting at the top of your head This pesky ball represents any tension stress Or pain you may be feeling in your body from your end up Slowly as you breathe in Imagine a soft rain beginning to fall Gently washing over you With each exhale See the rope loosening And untangling bit by bit We'll just move your attention to your forehead and eyes Feel the rain softly touching this area Imagine a small knot in the rope unraveling Feel the release as your forehead softens Your eyes relax And the tension Melting away Now bring your focus to your neck and shoulders Picture the rain gently falling down to these areas Loosening the tangled ropes around your neck and your shoulders With each breath Feel the knots releasing Allowing the muscles to relax As the ropes Softly unravel We'll just take a deep breath in And out And shift your awareness to your chest and abdomen Imagine the rain continuing to wash over you Easing any tightness or discomfort Visualize more of the rope untangling in your belly Slowly And effortlessly As the rain lightens your pain Or anxiety With each breath Just stay here for a second Watch as the sensations change Moment to moment As each beautiful drop of rain Slowly eases Our unforgiving pain And we'll just gently focus on your lower back hips and legs See the rain pooling around these areas Softening the remaining knots in the rope With every exhale feel the ropes gently unwinding And the pain easing away As your body becomes lighter And more at ease Just bring your awareness to your feet Let the last bit of rain trickle down to your feet Maybe adding a little tickle While dissolving any remaining tension The ball of rope is now completely untangled Leaving your body free Relaxed And hopefully pain-free And don't worry about the mess of the untangled rope hanging around.

It's all just a metaphor anyway We'll just arrive back to the room by taking a deep breath in And a big exhale out with a nice long sigh as loud as you want Oh Go for it We'll wiggle the fingers and toes Give ourselves a nice gentle stretch And slowly Open your eyes Thanks so much for joining me today you beautiful human you I hope you feel so relaxed and calm Just like you deserve Tension starts to arise again during the day Just remember to pause Tune into your body And breathe deeply into it Go on now warrior You've got this
