Welcome.
My name is Misty and I am your Holistic Life Coach here to guide you through a meditation around exploring yourself as a leader.
So let's begin by allowing your body to find and settle in a comfortable position.
So maybe it's seated or lying down.
Just taking this opportunity to create ease and comfort.
The invitation is to soften your gaze or close your eyes.
And as you draw the breath in,
Feeling the length in your spine,
Almost like it's coming all the way from the base of your spine through the top of your head as you reach to the ethers.
And as you exhale,
Just feeling that breath leave the body and your shoulders soften and you root back to the earth.
Taking a few breaths here,
Feeling that flow of energy in and out.
Noticing the sensations in your body.
As you allow yourself to come here in to this moment.
And today we'll explore leading with purpose.
And regardless of your position,
Whether in an organization or a family,
You are called to lead at some point.
And the best leaders have this sense of clarity of purpose and how they engage with the world and how they lead others.
Leaders connect with people in a very human level.
So begin by taking a full breath in and an elongated breath out.
Letting your attention rest on your breath.
Noticing the facets of your breath,
The texture,
The temperature,
The length.
And as you focus on your breath,
I'll share a series of questions.
But instead of thinking of the questions or coming up with the responses,
Allow the questions to sink in like pebbles that drop into a still pond.
And be sensitive to any ripples that you notice.
As a leader,
What is most important to you?
What are you aiming to achieve as a leader?
And as these questions flow through,
Noticing your thoughts,
Your feelings,
The images that come to mind as you simply breathe in and you breathe out.
Noticing everything without judgment.
Noticing with curiosity and openness.
Allowing it to flow from you rather than trying to create the answer you think it should be.
What are the values that guide you?
What may be preventing you from living your values every single day?
Continuing,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Dropping in to your body,
Bringing attention and awareness.
Noticing if the mind is wandering or if it's attaching to a particular thought or feeling that has been arising.
Noticing without judgment.
And now imagine yourself leading with purpose.
What does that feel like?
Does it feel rooted and grounded?
Does it feel spacious and expansive?
Does it feel light or does it feel heavy?
What does it feel like to lead with purpose?
And now as you begin to emerge from this reflection,
Tuning back in to the body,
Noticing what you feel in the body,
In the mind,
Bringing that into your full awareness,
Finishing with a beautiful full deep breath in and a long breath out.
And as you start to come out of this meditation,
Grab your journal,
Take a moment.
What are the contributions you most want to make in this world?
What are the contributions you most want to make in this world?
What are the most contributions you want to make in this world?
Some ideas I have for sharing this with others around me are.
Some ideas that I have for sharing this with others around me are.
And what are those ideas?
How do you want to share them?
Some ideas I have for sharing this with others around me are.
Taking the time,
Recording what's landing,
What's moving through you,
Allowing it to be presented for you to explore or to leave behind.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Have the most amazing day.
