In this introduction talk for the "Clearing Unconscious Fears Meditation to Unblock Healing Energy," we explore two unconscious fears and behaviors that can hinder the healing process: the fear of letting go the secondary gain from being ill and the attachment to the identity associated with a diagnosis. By understanding and reflecting on these points, we can gain profound insights and cultivate personal growth and strength on our healing journey. It's important to recognize that accepting these experiences can be challenging, and it's perfectly okay if you're not ready to engage in the meditation yet. Be gentle with yourself and embrace whatever feelings may arise. Trust that your unconscious mind will always prioritize your well-being. I’m committed to supporting your holistic healing and empowerment. Join me as we delve into these transformative insights and uncover the true strength within you for healing and growth. Hello,

I'm Monica Muller and I welcome you to this introduction section of the meditation Clearing Unconscious Fears to Unblock Healing Energy.

When we are going through a health challenge,

We have a strong desire to get better.

That's no doubt about it,

But sometimes there are unconscious influences that can create resistance in the process of healing and be an obstacle for a quick recovery.

One of them is the secondary gain we get from being ill.

It's hard to recognize because it's a reaction we create unconsciously to protect us.

For instance,

Being sick can be a strong reason for not doing something that deep inside we don't want to do because not doing it makes us feel extremely guilty and it's painful.

So being sick can work as a valid excuse not to do the work that we hate.

Or it may be that every time we do that thing that stresses us out we get sick.

Or maybe it's the only time we have for ourselves to take care of ourselves and not others.

It can also be that we get more attention,

Love and support from others.

It's important to recognize it because this secondary gain can become the resistance for healing.

It can sabotage and delay a recovery.

We can observe it as a pattern in our lives and once aware of this unconscious pattern we can work out how to meet those needs as a healthy person.

Meaning also that as an adult we assume the responsibility to consider ourselves,

Our desires as important and as a priority and negotiating those quote-unquote shoulds in a different way.

Another unconscious blockage can be our attachment to the identity that comes with having a diagnosis.

We can use the story of having a disease to define us and our sudden belonging to a group of people going through the same struggle can be in a sense comforting.

We could feel we are not alone in the process.

So we could get attached to that feeling of belonging or to that story that suddenly becomes part of a way we introduce ourselves or a way of having it as a background story of our lives.

So it's important to recognize that we are more than our story.

Our true nature is independent of our circumstance.

Yes we can learn from the situation,

Grow from it.

It can give us a strength of character but we have a clear sense that we are not it.

It is part of our experience but we do not make it who we are.

In this way we can let the health crisis pass and move on because we know that we are complete as a healthy person.

By practicing to reprogram those mental unconscious messages we can liberate that secondary gain,

Clearing unconscious fears and regain health and vitality with healthy boundaries,

Healthy choices and healthy thoughts.

So in the following meditation practice notice what happens inside you when you hear the positive words.

You can repeat them internally or just listen to them as they change the unconscious thought patterns of fear.

They become a new set of thoughts or emotions and in this way make it easier for your body to reach that state of relaxation,

Acceptance and harmony.

The state that is what actually influences in a positive way your immune system for healing.
