Take a few deep breaths and allow the breath to settle.
No specific breath pattern is required,
Just allowing the body to relax as you observe the rise and fall of your breath.
And you feel that softness moving through your body,
The calm,
A gentle sense of peace just starting to come in.
And again,
Check if you're holding tension around your eyes,
Around your jaw.
Relax.
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your arms.
And a sense of your strong spine supporting you,
Holding you up.
Your hips relaxing and softening.
Your legs,
Your hands,
Your feet.
Just releasing any tension that has settled into any part of your body.
Notice how you feel.
Right now,
Comfortable or uncomfortable?
What are the sensations within?
What are their messages for you?
I want you to bring your awareness to your heart space.
How does it feel there at the moment?
Is there a sense of joy?
Is there a sense of sadness and sorrow?
Or maybe something else?
Maybe there's no sensation there,
Maybe it just is very neutral.
There's no wrong or right answers right now,
We're just checking in.
Tuning it into our body.
Our body is always trying to talk with us.
And the more we tune in,
The more sensitive we become to our needs,
The better able we are to navigate this world.
Is there a sense of anxiousness or is it calm,
Radiant?
Don't analyse it,
Just acknowledge.
Acknowledge it's okay.
And this space,
We're just settling in and taking time to pay attention to ourselves.
It's safe.
Allow yourself to really go within.
And as you tune into that heart space,
Now that you've recognised the sensation there,
Can you find what is the cause of this feeling?
The thing that pops into your mind instantly is probably the right answer.
And again don't analyse it,
Just look at it like an observer from the outside.
Don't attach anything to it.
Just acknowledge it,
Look at it and say,
I see,
I see what that is,
I understand that now.
And notice if the feeling changes.
Maybe it grows stronger,
Maybe it dissipates completely.
Just drop our awareness down to the belly,
To the gut.
Just try and breathe out the sensations,
The thoughts,
The feelings from a moment ago.
Breathe it out and breathe yourself down to the abdomen.
Just bring your awareness down,
Notice how you feel.
What is the feeling in your gut?
Is there a sinking feeling?
Is there a confidence?
Is it a bit muddled?
What are the sensations you're carrying around with you,
In your gut right now?
And it's okay if you're not feeling anything at all.
Just let the concentration go and just let yourself settle into that space and notice and observe.
Open yourself up to the sensations without attaching yourself to them.
Just observe.
That's interesting.
That's odd.
And is there a thought,
An image,
A memory attaching itself to that feeling?
Observe it,
Acknowledge it.
See it without attaching yourself.
You're safe in this space.
And then let that go too.
Just let it go,
Drop it.
Maybe you didn't really connect to either area,
The heart or the belly.
Maybe your sensations are all stuck in between.
The solar plexus area,
Does that space call to you?
How does that feel?
What are the sensations in your body right now when you connect there?
Maybe you feel empowered and strong.
Maybe you feel completely disempowered and fearful.
What is that sensation?
What is that?
Acknowledge it and breathe it out.
Let it go.
Take a deep breath in and exhale it out.
Just a cleansing breath through your body.
And if there's a situation or a person that has been tying you up in knots,
Giving you a hard time,
Or maybe even someone that you'd really like to get to know,
Or a situation you'd like to insert yourself into but you don't have the courage to do so right now,
Just call them into your mind's eye.
Call that person or that situation and notice instantly something in your body is going to react.
Is it in your heart?
Is it in your gut?
Is it in between?
Notice how you feel,
Generally in our heart space.
If it's a joyful,
Positive situation,
We feel light.
We feel giddy,
Bubbly,
Effervescent,
Joyful.
But if it's not a positive one,
We find that sorrow,
Sadness,
Grief,
Frustration even.
If it's down in the belly,
Sometimes there's a resolute,
Yes,
This is the right situation,
Person,
Place for me,
The right decision.
Or there's that sinking feeling where your body tells you this is not right.
And if it's in the space between,
Usually it's absolute confidence in yourself,
You are strong,
You are there,
You can stand up for yourself,
Or it's fear.
If it's all muddled and confused,
It's probably fear,
Just channels through your body.
What is this situation,
Place,
Person bringing up for you?
Why?
And are you prepared and willing to let it go,
To move past it,
To drop it right now in this moment?
What is the decision that you need to make to allow any negative feelings to subside?
If it's all joyful,
Then sit with that.
You don't need to drop that,
You can take that and run with it.
But if it's bringing up feelings of discomfort in the body,
If you're feeling all knotted up inside,
Nauseous,
Uncomfortable,
It's bothering you,
You can't sleep.
What is the decision you need to make for yourself to drop that burden,
To release that person from your life?
To walk away from that situation,
To allow yourself to reset into your natural state of balance and comfort and joy and peace.
And are you willing to make that decision?
Do you want to feel good again?
Notice how that feels in your body.
Just tune in,
Travel through those three centers,
Allowing your internal compass to guide you to the right decision.
You'll know that it's right when you come back to a neutral set point and there are no strong feelings in your body.
Maybe there's joy,
But generally you'll just feel comfortable again,
Confident in your decision,
Right in yourself,
At peace.
Calm.
If you are already in that joyful space,
Stay there.
If you're able to find that sense of peace and calm,
Come with me.
And if you're still working on it,
Just set it aside for now.
Let's just put it down.
And let's step into the life we want.
How would it feel to only be surrounded by people who love and respect you?
How would it feel to have only love and respect for yourself?
How does that feel?
How would it feel to step into your dreams,
Your fantasies,
Your desires?
Maybe it's a goal you've been working towards.
Maybe it's just a life of calm and peace and flow.
How would it feel to have life flow to you and through you in the most delicious way,
Bringing you all of the things that you have wanted,
Have worked towards,
Have dreamt about and have yearned for?
How would that feel?
How would it feel to know that your light,
Your aura,
Your energy is so infused with this self-confidence and self-love and self-respect,
That nothing that does not resonate with that light can even come close to you?
How would that feel?
Step into that.
Breathe that sense of comfort or confidence or peace or love or determination,
Whatever it is that is really allowing you to feel uplifted,
To feel centered,
To feel grounded.
Breathe that into your body.
Breathe it in,
Breathe it in and breathe out anything that does not resonate with that picture,
That image.
Breathe it out.
Give yourself a few words of love and blessing.
Anchor yourself into this feeling,
Into this space,
Into your bubble of light.
Feel free to place your hands over your heart space or bring them together,
Whatever feels right for you to acknowledge yourself in this moment.
And stay in this feeling for as long as you like until you're ready to take a few more deep breaths,
Breathing in the love and breathing out any tension and tightness that might remain.
Opening your eyes in your own time.
Breathe in and breathe out anything that feels right for you.
