This is a beautiful meditation if you're feeling any physical symptoms of anxiety or stress in your body.
I want you to find a comfortable seat somewhere where you won't be disturbed.
Make it comfortable.
You can sit on a chair.
You can lean against the wall.
Or you can sit with your back straight,
Legs crossed in front of you,
Making sure that your knees are lower than your hips,
Propping up your knees if you need to,
Allowing your spine to be straight,
Vertebrae stacked upon vertebrae,
Noticing the length in the back of your neck.
Tuck your chin under just slightly.
Relax your belly.
Allow your breathing to be slow and calm,
Natural,
Relaxing all the muscles on your face,
Perhaps your jaw parts slightly.
Let's just send a beam of white light starting at the top of your head like a laser scanner from the top of your head slowly over your face and your neck,
Tops of your shoulders going down,
Down,
Down,
Your arms and your belly.
It's cleaning and clearing all negative energy right here,
Right now.
Imagining that beam of white light sliced across your body as it cleans and cleanses from your hips down to your knees and from your knees down to your feet,
Allowing that white light to disappear as you feel this pure energetic connection to yourself right now,
Noticing how relaxed you are in this moment,
How beautiful everything is right here,
Right now in this very moment.
When you tune into your anxiety or your fears and your worries,
Noticing where is it in your body,
Maybe you're feeling upset in your stomach,
Perhaps your hands are shaking,
Maybe you've got this pounding headache,
Maybe your knees are weak,
Whatever it is,
Just tuning into where in your body are you feeling this anxiety,
This worry,
This fear.
Now I want you to imagine grabbing your hands and your body and I want you to throw it into the horizon and I want you to keep going back to grab that energy wherever it is and then throwing it into the horizon.
You can do this multiple times on one spot.
You can go around your body and just noticing wherever it's not feeling comfortable and wherever there's anxiety and fear.
I want you to visualize your body and wherever it's not feeling comfortable and wherever there's anxiety and fear.
I want you to visualize yourself gathering that energy of fear and anxiety and throwing it into the horizon and seeing it disappear.
Keep doing that,
Gathering the energy that you no longer want,
Throwing it into the horizon and watching it disappear.
A few more times,
Gathering energy,
Throwing it into the horizon,
Watching it disappear.
Last time,
Gathering any little bit of energy you no longer want or need in your life that's making you feel fearful or anxious.
Picking it all up and throwing it far,
Far into the horizon as you watch it disappear.
Taking a beautiful big breath in and exhaling out with a sigh.
Two more times,
Inhaling beautifully and big.
Exhale with a sigh.
Last time,
Inhale and exhale.
Last time,
Inhale and exhale.
Just tuning back to your body and noticing the spaciousness created,
Noticing the peace and the calm in your body,
Noticing how beautifully everything is working right here,
Right now,
How your blood is pumping,
Oxygen is being circulated.
Feel the freedom within your body.
Feel the beauty of being alive right now.
Feel the freedom to just be you in this moment.
The silence,
The spaciousness.
Allow your breathing to be soft and gentle,
Allowing your belly to flop out,
Side rib breathing,
Diaphragmatic,
Gentle,
Soft,
Effortless breathing.
Just noticing the peace and the calm in your body.
Just notice if your spine is still upright,
Chin tucked under slightly,
Relax all the muscles in your face.
Relax any tension in your hips and just sit here for a few moments,
Enjoying a new sense of being you,
Being free,
Being calm and centered right here,
Right now.
Bringing your awareness back to your breath,
Noticing how easy it is to be in this moment,
Effortless being,
Effortless freedom.
Noticing the spaciousness and the calmness in your body as you gently open your eyes to welcome in the calmness,
The gentleness and the freedom of this very moment.
