Hello and thank you for making the time to join me in this meditation that I hope will bring you some peace through presence.

Firstly I'm sorry that you're on this fertility journey whether it is pregnancy loss,

Pregnancy after loss or going through IVF.

I know personally how extremely difficult it is.

It is such a physical,

Mental and emotional marathon so I just wanted to start by acknowledging that and acknowledging you for how much you've been through and for how far you've come.

When you're ready find a comfortable seat or maybe you wish to lay on your back and put a pillow underneath your knees.

Maybe cover up with a blanket to feel nice and warm and comforted and as you settle into this space I invite you to close your eyes and just tune in to your breath.

Start to notice the natural rhythm of your breath as it dances through you.

With every inhale notice the rise and with every exhale notice the fall.

Continue to connect to your breath and use your breath to connect to yourself,

To Mother Earth and to the community,

To the collective.

Although this journey is one that feels very lonely know that you are not alone.

Let's start by taking a deep breath in through our nose and letting it out through our mouth.

So join me inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth and again another deep slow inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Nice slow deep exhale as you release,

Soften.

Maybe you roll your shoulders down here.

Let's do a few more rounds of breath like that.

Inhale in the positive,

Warm energy.

Exhale and release any negative,

Stale energy.

Let's do one more like this.

Biggest,

Deepest inhale that you've done for the day and slowly release out through the mouth.

Sigh it out through the mouth.

Maybe stick out your tongue.

Roll your shoulders down.

Melt into the earth.

Know that the earth is supporting you.

This meditation today I invite you to explore a type of pranayama,

A type of breathing called the Ujjayi breath with me if you feel comfortable and the Ujjayi breath is also known as the victorious or conqueror breath or the oceanic breath and it's a breath in and out through the nose.

We're gonna try and find an even distribution in,

Even out.

So let's start to explore this breath in through the nose and out through the nose.

As you exhale feel a slight constriction at the back of your throat.

Might feel like your out breath is tickling the back of your throat and maybe you hear a slight hum of the ocean,

Of the waves,

The healing properties of the ocean.

Just explore this breath in and out through your nose.

With every inhale notice the upward expansive rising energy and with every exhale notice the downward grounding rooting energy.

As you continue to explore this breath on your exhalation,

If there are any parts of your body that might feel a little sticky,

Tense or tight,

See if you can send this breath around your body to these parts and use your breath to help release this tension.

If it feels good for you,

You might want to place your hands on your heart or maybe on your belly,

Your lower abdomen,

Your pelvic region,

Your uterus.

Maybe one hand on your heart and one hand on your low belly.

And as you acknowledge yourself and the journey that you are on,

I'd like to share a few affirmations that have helped me in case you want to repeat those now,

Whether out loud,

As a slight whisper or maybe just to yourself in your mind.

I am worthy.

I am enough.

I am resilient.

I've got this.

I am doing the best that I can.

I trust my body.

I trust my inner wisdom.

I trust the process.

I trust my medical team.

I embrace gentleness and move through the day with ease.

I am gentle and kind to myself.

As you continue to settle in and surrender,

I'd like to ask you to visualize a bright,

Warm light,

One that is nurturing,

Guiding,

Protective and supportive.

As you visualize this light,

Send it around your body.

Think of this light wrapping you in its embrace,

This warmth of the sunshine hugging you and holding you.

And maybe you want to send this light down to your lower abdomen,

Belly,

Pelvic region,

Uterus,

The space that is so sacred and that has been through so much.

As you visualize this light,

Know that you are capable of creating and nurturing life.

Continue to feel this light,

Bask in this light.

Open your heart to this expansive,

Protective,

Positive energy that divinely guides you on this journey as you navigate this journey.

And continue to take it one breath,

One step,

And one thing at a time.

I hope that you can continue to find and create some pockets of peace through presence,

That you can feel comforted and know that you are not alone and that you can do this.

You've got this.
