Hello and welcome to day two of this mighty meditation course that will help you lovingly embrace and heal your body from the inside out.
I hope you enjoyed massaging your body up with so much love yesterday.
Now that you feel more connected to your body,
We will go deeper by channeling healing energy wherever it needs to go.
But first we have to get you fully relaxed and fully present.
So begin by finding yourself in a comfortable space.
Seated or laying,
Ensure your spine is straight.
Think tall like a tree.
Closing your eyes,
Tune inward.
Take a big,
Generous breath in.
Pausing at the top.
And out.
And notice how you are feeling.
Is there room for you to find a bit more relaxation in your posture?
Go ahead and ask your intelligent body,
Body how can I soften even more?
Perhaps it's dropping your shoulders,
Releasing any tension in your jaw,
Or unfurrowing your brow.
Listen and follow your body's innate wisdom.
We will shift to some resonant breathing to help with your focus and loosen you up a touch more.
Simply inhale for a count of five and exhale for that same count of five.
In through your nose and right back out through your nose if that's possible for you.
So breathe in 1 2 3 4 5 and breathe out 5 4 3 2 1.
Inhale 2 3 4 5.
Exhale 4 3 2 1.
Last time together.
In 2 3 4 5.
Out 2 3 4 5.
Alright,
At your own count for a few breaths.
You may wish to let out a soft hum on your exhale to calm your nervous system even further.
So it would go something like this.
Inhale and exhale.
Feel yourself getting calmer and calmer with every delicious breath.
Keep going.
The humming may sound a bit silly to you and go ahead and have a good chuckle at yourself if you feel you need to.
But humming has scientifically proven benefits that include reducing stress,
Blood pressure,
And lifting overall mood.
How cool is that?
That's a lot of potential benefits for something that comes pretty naturally to most of us.
So why not take advantage of it more often?
Shift to a breathing pace that is most soothing to you as we move into a full head to toe body scan.
No massaging here,
Just your concentrated focus.
Follow my words with your awareness as you place your attention on each body part I take you through,
Relaxing it even if just a little bit.
Remember to breathe deeply and slowly throughout this journey as you did at the start of our session.
You ready?
Good.
Place your attention on the very top of your head.
Notice any sensations in your scalp.
Sometimes certain areas can feel vacant or numb.
That's okay.
You are merely observing to see what you find.
Move on to your forehead and the area around your eyes.
What sensations are present?
Do you perceive stiffness or looseness?
How is the back and side of your head feeling?
Sometimes we can feel the slightest of tingling when we zoom in on our focus.
Other times we are totally desensitized from a certain area.
All is good here.
Simply investigate what is true for you in this moment.
Are you holding any tension there?
If so,
Soften.
Moving downward to your jaw,
Are you holding any tension there?
If so,
Unclench it and soften.
Allow your entire head and face to be soft,
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes and mouth.
Continuing on to your neck and your throat.
Is the area hot or cold or neutral?
Focus and relaxation is the name of the game here.
Feel into the muscles along the back and side of your neck.
Soften them.
Sensing your shoulders.
Are they stiff?
If so,
Unclench.
Are they stiff?
If so,
Loosen them up too.
Be sure to breathe into any area where you sense tension or discomfort by imagining your exhale as white healing light bathing that area.
Refocusing on your arms.
What do you feel?
How about your elbows?
Your forearms.
Your wrists.
Your hands.
Your palms.
Your fingers.
Dig into all the sensations there,
Encouraging these parts of you to ease up as best as you can.
If you have trouble with it,
That's okay,
Don't resist it.
What you resist persists,
So be with what is.
Even if that's tightness.
Simply and delicately exhale into it.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Onto your chest and your heart.
What do you notice there?
Listen and receive.
Any sensations?
Any words that your heart needs you to hear?
Center on your stomach and hips for a few conscious breaths.
What do you find here?
Exhale loving energy into that area.
Remember to stay present,
Releasing any stress.
Continuing down your upper legs and thighs,
Then your knees and now your lower legs.
And now your lower legs.
And calves.
All the way to your shins.
Really being with each area.
Become that part of you.
Sense all the muscles and tissues there,
Lightening and letting go.
And now your feet.
Continuing your steady grounding intakes of air.
You may even wish to hum as you exhale.
Onto your feet.
Your ankles.
The soles of your feet.
And all of your toes.
Be aware of all the sensations here.
Be present.
Wonderful.
Drawing the biggest breath in.
And out.
Hold it there and sense your entire body all at once.
From the tips of your tippy toes,
Right back to the top of your head.
Unite with the immense power and energy of your awesome human vehicle.
And finally,
Letting your breath out with a nice long audible exhale.
Shaking your body out in a way that feels good.
And returning to stillness once more.
Uniting with your life-giving breath.
Keep breathing deeply.
Bask in the absolute perfection of your body.
Every last cell,
36 trillion of them,
Working in unison to keep you alive and well.
How miraculous is that?
Give tremendous thanks for the miracle that is you.
If you need to shed a few tears,
Now's your opportunity to let them go.
Do not be afraid to feel it all.
Begin to slowly rub the palm of your hands together in front of your heart center.
Generate some heat.
Tap into the energy created in between,
Thinking about all the love you've cultivated here for your phenomenal physical form.
Deep,
Generous breaths.
Observe the energy created in between.
There is so much healing energy and potential in your hands.
Let's bring it forth.
Rub harder,
As hard as you can.
As if the harder you brush,
The more magnetism you create.
Enjoy the heat of this love you are generating.
Revel in the burning sensation.
And when you can sense the full power of it,
Slowly pull your hands ever so slightly apart.
What do you notice?
So cool,
Huh?
Try pulling your hands further apart,
And then bring them closer,
While still sensing the energy in between.
Now bring them closer together,
And then back apart.
Amazing.
Delight in the aliveness you've given rise to.
The heat,
The fire,
The electricity,
Tingling buzz,
Pulsing attraction,
The vitality,
The life force,
The loving,
Healing energy of the whole universe in the palm of your hands.
This vibration is always present.
But our awareness isn't always honed in on it,
Because we can be so lost in the midst of our scattered mind.
Give this vivid spark between your hands a color.
Whatever resonates with you most in this instance for your healing.
See that color vividly in your mind's eye.
Gently,
But firmly,
Place one hand on your heart,
And one on your belly.
Honing in on your deep breath,
Feel the vibrations emanating as loving,
Healing energy moving from the palm of your hands into your chest and belly,
Expanding further and further to engulf your whole entire body in love and healing.
Visualize the color you picked.
See it spreading outward from your hands with every exhale,
Expanding further and further to engulf your whole entire body in love and healing.
Hold that awareness in every last cell of your body.
You are buzzing with aliveness and complete vitality.
Breathe deeply into it,
At your own pace now.
It's all yours.
Accept that as your birthright.
Perfect health,
Perfect balance.
Ask yourself,
What part of my body needs the most attention and healing?
Listen.
Receive.
Rubbing your hands together a little bit more,
Generate some more healing energy.
And then cup both of your hands over that area,
Permitting your very own life force to mend that part of you.
Give yourself exactly what you need.
Your body's wisdom knows how to heal.
Believe it is done,
And it is.
If you need emotional healing,
Go ahead and place your hands on your heart.
Channel all that love,
Healing and light into this part of you.
Heal your heart.
Send loving compassion to whatever is there,
Good or bad or ugly.
Welcome it all.
Trusting in your inner and higher power to revitalize you.
Just as you do your body to keep you alive,
Without giving it much thought.
Leave your mind out of your healing.
Get out of your own way.
Let your body do what it was born to do.
Full restoration on every level,
Effortlessly.
Feel it.
Feel it.
Become it.
From this space of utter presence and receptivity,
Silently affirm the following,
Integrating these words to your very core.
Repeat,
I have the power to heal myself.
Breathe into it fully,
Right into your being.
It is who you are.
And exhale anything to the contrary.
With conviction,
Say,
I hold the power to heal myself.
Affirm,
Thank you for my healing.
Affirm,
Thank you for my healing.
Feel it fully,
Right into your being.
Thank you for my healing.
Declare,
I am healed.
I am healed.
And so it is.
Savor the completeness of what you just affirmed.
