Hello and welcome to this meditation to help you trust in the flow of life.
My name is Wana and I'm honored to be guiding you in your practice today.
If you haven't done so already,
Find yourself a comfy and quiet space.
Once you're there,
Close your eyes.
Take some time to tune into the rhythm of your breath.
Don't try and change it in any way just yet.
Simply notice where you're at with it.
Is your breathing shallow or deep,
Slow or fast?
Does it flow easily or is it somewhat strained?
Outside of our breathwork,
Conscious movement or meditation practices,
We often leave our breath to do its own thing,
Not very conscious of it throughout our day.
So take this time we have here together to really tune into it.
Ask yourself,
How can I breathe in a way that feels good to me right now?
And do so now.
Trust yourself to breathe in a way that is good for you and your body.
Take delight in the natural rhythm of every inhale and exhale.
Follow the breath as it enters and then leaves your body.
Allow it to anchor you to this beautiful present moment.
In the same way you trust your breath to flow in and out without much effort on your part,
You can also learn to trust in the flow of your life.
Meditation can be a powerful tool to help you develop this confidence.
By calming your mind and bringing your attention to this present moment,
Your practice can help you develop a deep sense of surrender and acceptance,
Giving you the faith that your life is unfolding exactly as it should be,
Which it certainly is as we will explore now.
As you continue to breathe easily and effortlessly,
I'd like you to bring to mind a situation or aspect of your life where you find it hard to trust in the flow.
This could be a specific event,
A relationship,
Or a future outcome that you find it difficult to surrender to.
Observe the thoughts and emotions associated with that particular situation without getting too caught up in them.
Where do you have a hard time letting go and trusting?
Is there a smaller part of you that worries about these circumstances and a higher you that sees the bigger picture?
Reflect on the idea that your life,
Just like the very evolution of our entire planet,
Has a natural flow and intelligence,
Guiding you to your own unique growth and expansion.
Consider this,
There is no one else who has ever lived or will ever live in all of eternity who is exactly like you,
Who has experienced your unique path and who sees the world in exactly the same way you do.
Sure,
There may be soulmates and friends who come close,
But still,
They aren't and will never be you.
Nobody's like you,
As no one has shared the experiences you've had.
And moreover,
Even if they shared a few similar experiences,
They weren't in the exact same state of mind and emotion when they were undergoing it as you were.
Therefore,
They experienced it differently.
No one is having,
No one did,
And no one ever will experience life exactly the same way you did.
You are the one and only one in all of eternity that is uniquely you.
Take a deep breath to really feel the miracle that you are.
No two lives,
No two paths are the same.
So stop comparing your journey to any others.
Because when you do,
You stop trusting in the flow of your own unique path here on earth,
Thinking that you should be somewhere other than you are now.
Use these next few moments to visualize yourself letting go of any resistance or need for control over your particular situation.
See yourself allowing things to unfold naturally.
I'd like you to go ahead and gently place your hands on your stomach and take two to three deep breaths,
Feeling your stomach rising and falling with each in and out breath.
Silently repeat after me,
I trust my gut feeling,
And my gut feeling tells me,
I am right where I need to be.
I trust in the flow of life.
I have confidence that my life is unfolding exactly as it is meant to.
Nothing has gone wrong here.
Everything is alright.
I surrender to the flow of life,
And I trust that it will carry me in the right direction.
Really soak in these affirmations,
Allowing yourself to experience the deep sense of peace and relief that comes with letting go.
As we begin to close the meditation,
Take these next few breaths to feel gratitude for all the insights that you have gained in this practice.
Be sure to carry this wisdom with you into your day when you awaken,
When you're ready,
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
And open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me on this inward journey.
Remember that cultivating trust in the flow of life doesn't happen overnight.
It takes time and consistent practice.
So be patient and compassionate with yourself.
A regular practice can help improve your mindset over time.
So my meditations are always here for you when you need them.
As always,
Let me know how your journey went.
And follow along for more to come.
I hope to have you join me again soon.
