Hello,
Welcome to this guided meditation on stepping into your courage.
My name is Juana and I am honored to guide you through this brave journey today.
Let's begin by finding yourself a comfy seat and a strong power posture.
Sit up tall and proud with a straight spine,
Chest open wide and a slightly lifted chin.
Close your eyes and tune into the powerful force of your breath.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your nose,
Counting each breath in as one and each breath out as two.
One.
Two.
One.
Two.
Three.
Two.
One.
Two.
Repeat this pattern silently to yourself.
Feel the power of each passing breath as it enters and leaves your nostrils.
Anytime your mind wanders off,
Just focus it back.
One.
Two.
Keep this rhythm going.
Relax your attention and continue to breathe powerfully.
Courage.
Courage is the ability to do something that frightens you.
Yes,
You were attracted to this meditation with good reason.
To let go of anything holding you back so that you may step into your courage.
One of the best ways to tap into it is to reflect back on all the times you did act with courageousness.
Perhaps it was the first time you went on a trip abroad or maybe that time you raised your hand and spoke in public,
Even when you were scared about what other people would think.
It could even be as far back as when you found yourself behind the wheel of a car for the very first time.
These are all acts of courage.
So it doesn't matter how big or how small the act was.
Just bring forth whatever memory comes to mind and allow it to build momentum.
When did you act with courage?
All acts of courage have a bit of fear associated with them.
At least the first time you take them on.
But then,
They get progressively easier and easier.
Recall the first time you ever found yourself riding a bike.
For most of you,
This moment was probably met with great nervousness.
And now,
Riding a bike has become second nature.
You hardly give it another thought.
Draw from the success of these past experiences and remind yourself that you got this.
If you did it then,
You can surely do it again now.
Just draw on the strength of your breath for courage too.
Place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.
We will breathe in courage for three counts and then breathe out any fear for three counts.
The breath will come in through your nose and out through your nose.
With no breaks in between,
Your breath will stay continuous and connected.
So breathe in,
One,
Two,
Three,
And breathe out,
One,
Two,
Three.
In,
One,
Two,
Three.
Out,
One,
Two,
Three.
One,
Two,
Three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Continue on your own.
Feel your belly and chest expanding with each breath of courage in.
Feel them collapsing and letting go of any fear with each breath out.
Fully in,
Fully out.
See yourself stepping into your power.
Feel yourself courageous.
Envision the outcome you desire.
Your breath gives you life.
It gives you courage.
Raise your breath as an anchor of courage.
Repeat silently after me as you feel this truth in your heart.
I am courageous.
I can do this.
I was meant to do this.
Everything I need is within me.
The universe has my back.
Indeed,
This time-space reality would not give you the dream,
The goal,
The vision,
If it also didn't give you the means to accomplish it.
So trust yourself and trust the process.
Fear is perfectly normal the first time you ever take on anything new.
So don't resist it.
Instead,
Embrace it as an opportunity to remind yourself of all the times you overcame it.
Welcome it and assure it that you got this.
Let's bring this courage back with us as we get ready to transition out of this meditation.
Bring more attention into your body as you feel where your body meets the ground.
Rotate your shoulders a few times.
Move your head side to side.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And powerfully open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me on this courageous journey today.
Remember to use the power of your breath,
The very one that keeps you alive,
To give you the courage to keep moving forward.
Let me know how your journey went and do follow for more meditations to come.
