Take a lovely deep breath in and a long slow breath out and the next time you breathe in look up towards your forehead and as you breathe out gently close down your eyes.

Feel or imagine yourself sitting down to eat a meal in a cozy dining room or even at a table set up in the garden.
You're about to eat a meal that you really enjoy and you're looking forward to eating it.
You notice that there's no fear in your body,
No tension,
Just the anticipation of enjoyment and you know that because you'll enjoy the food,
Your digestive system will too.
You notice trusting your body,
Trusting your gut and in return your body trusts you.
As you imagine eating this meal,
You can see the food moving down into your body,
Into your gut and you know that your gut knows what to do with it,
How to handle it with ease.
Even foods that once caused discomfort or fear,
They seem easier now too because your nervous system is calm,
Your gut lining is healthy,
Your enzymes,
Your gut microbiome,
They're doing their job perfectly.
And your body is working with you,
Not against you.
You feed your gut the foods you know that it loves and also the foods that you love and because you love them,
Your gut responds.
It responds by welcoming them,
Digesting them beautifully and this is a new pattern and new way of being and you know that you can come back to enjoying your food without fear again and again.
And in a moment I'm going to count from one to three and when I say three,
You'll open your eyes feeling relaxed,
Lighter and free from fear.
One,
Noticing your body resting on the surface beneath you.
Two,
Taking a deep breath in and sighing it out.
Three,
Opening your eyes when you're ready.
