I invite you when you're ready to either sit or lie down.
Close your eyes taking a deep breath in,
Holding it for a moment and then exhale slowly out the mouth.
Doing this practice two more times at your own pace,
In through the nose and out the mouth.
Allowing your body to relax with each breath and as you sink deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation we will use a simple mantra.
As you breathe in you will breathe in the word peace and as you exhale you exhale the word calm.
You can do this in your mind.
Inhaling peace,
Exhaling the word calm.
Inhale peace,
Exhale calm.
Inhale peace,
Exhale calm.
Let the mantra guide you and if you feel your mind slowly starting to wander just gently pull yourself back to the task at hand.
There's no need to force anything.
Simply allow the mantra to anchor you into this present moment as you embody these words of peace and calm.
I will let the music play for five minutes as you work through this toolkit and if peace does not resonate with you or calm I invite you to replace those words that bring you a sense of connection,
Of peace and relaxation.

As you enjoy your final repetitions of this practice I invite you to notice that your body perhaps feels more calm,
More relaxed.
As this mantra with each inhalation you inhale peace and with each exhalation you give back the gift of calmness allowing both words to wash over you.
Take a few more deep breaths feeling this tranquility that you have cultivated within in every fiber of your being.
Trust that the sense of calmness will stay with you as you drift off to sleep allowing yourself this time to fully recharge knowing that you have given your gift,
