There's an activation that happens when we're witnessed,

When someone sees to the truth of who we really are,

And when they see who we are and acknowledge this to us,

Speak some words that indicate that they're really seeing us.

This activates us.

This sort of sets off a process of realizing that you can live in your authenticity.

It's sort of like being really,

Really deeply loved by a mom,

You know,

By our parents.

I mean,

When any little one who's really,

Really loved by their parents,

Not in an intellectual way,

But in a really deep heart way,

You can spot them.

They just have a kind of self-confidence to them and a self-trust.

And they don't have any axe to grind because they've got this baseline of happiness.

So,

They tend not to be mean.

They tend to be kind of wholesome characters.

Well,

Who wouldn't be if you're loved really deeply,

Right,

In the early years?

But,

You know,

Many of us,

Our parents are like struggling with their own traumas and they're working and,

You know,

The bills come in.

So,

There's no blame.

It's just to see clearly if we weren't acknowledged as little kids,

You know.

But you can,

First of all,

Back to the,

You know,

Somebody can acknowledge us.

This is the power of the wise person.

And even just a few words can do it.

And it sets in motion an inner freedom.

It's like being recognized.

It's sort of like that,

You know,

The ugly duckling fable where the swan is in with the ducks and he thinks he's a duckling and he kind of feels like there's maybe something wrong with him.

He's trying really hard to fit in and along comes this beautiful swan and says,

Hey,

You're one of us.

It's the same kind of thing.

A really awake person can validate your deeper self.

They just see your deeper self because they're living in their own deeper self.

So,

It's just seamless for them.

It's like one and one equals two.

I figure we need an army of them to set us all in motion to become our true selves organically.

You can do it through meditation as well and prayer.

If there's nobody around,

You're really,

You see,

You're never alone.

You're always getting great help from the angelic realms from your soul.

And really,

The realms listen to your intention.

It's like they follow what we want.

I mean,

If we're going around going like,

Oh,

I'm nothing much.

I'm flotsam and jetsam.

It's like,

Eh,

Nobody cares about me.

Then this is,

They can't stop this.

They won't stop this.

Your soul will allow this,

You know,

Maybe for a long time because it's your wish and you're a divine being in human form.

So,

They wait for us to validate ourselves and decide that we're worth it and that we can blossom and become the person we're born to be.

But a wise person helps.

Okay.

Bless your heart.

This wisdom on feeling acknowledged was felt very deeply when I heard it. I really miss having this on a daily basis…. Feeling seen makes me feel so alive! As does offering that presence to others.

I have a close friendship with someone who is constantly affirming her “bad luck” in life as it continues to prove her right. I love her dearly and realize it’s not for me to snap her out of the dream but it’s very painful to watch those I care for sleepwalk through life, totally oblivious to the beautiful gift of waking up. They are a sad reminder of the way I saw life just a few years ago. I so badly want to help push them toward the sunlight!!! I want them to see and know what I do. When is it ok to interfere in someone’s life journey? Or do I simply remain on the sidelines, watching them suffer? I’ve tried sharing little Epiphany’s with her but I can see that she is so far from understanding. And sometimes I get frustrated.
