Ayesha Adhami-Magueta

Ayesha (she/her) is a Personal, Business and Leadership Coach and founder of The Purposeful Path located in the settler community of Toronto, Canada. She is an EDI, trauma and grief-informed practitioner, using meditation, self-care, emotional regulation, self-awareness, healthy boundaries and personal healing as core foundations of her coaching practice. Ayesha's offerings on Insight Timer focus on short-form (15 minutes or less) or micro-meditations (2-3 minutes). She chose this format because this is how show started her own meditation and reflection practice. Sometimes she found it hard to sit for even 15 minutes at a time and would get frustrated at her inability to "get it." Eventually, she realized this was an opportunity to do things differently. Instead of forcing herself to sit longer, she began investing 3-4 minutes once or twice a day into her practice and built from there. With this ongoing commitment, she strengthened her meditation muscles to practice for longer sessions, holding compassion for herself on days when racing thoughts and distractions remain challenging. She encourages her followers to do the same. Ayesha understands and deeply believes in the importance of self-connection and inner work to navigate life challenges and find peace and fulfillment. I admit I haven’t listened to the introduction meditation as suggested. However I found this helpful. I especially appreciate the idea of not just cutting cords to people but also patterns of behaviour and events. Not sure if this is how the teacher puts it. I’m visualizing letting go of a project that has consumed me for the past 6 months. Thank you for offering this.
