I want you to take a moment to get comfortable.

You may lie down on your back and just melt into the space around you,

Letting go of any tension or holding,

Bringing your attention to the breath.

Long,

Slow inhale.

Long,

Slow exhale.

Letting go of getting here,

Just be here.

Now,

Take a moment to notice what's coming up for you today.

Notice any pleasant or unpleasant emotions that might be present.

Maybe you're labeling these emotions by their names.

Maybe it's fear,

Worry.

Maybe you're feeling joy or gratitude.

Just label.

Taking another big,

Deep breath.

If you could feel any of these unpleasant emotions in your body,

Where would they show up?

Just scan through the body,

Noticing any sensations with curiosity.

Beginning at your head,

Coming down into your neck and shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your chest,

Your upper back,

Your mid-back and your low back,

Your belly,

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves and feet.

Just notice any sensations.

Allow these sensations to be there.

Soften into any difficult sensations.

Breathe into it,

Allowing the exhale to soften.

And then I want you to accept these sensations.

Accept any difficult emotions,

Knowing these emotions are perfectly normal given what you've been through.

Knowing it's okay to have difficult sensations in your body.

And then take a long,

Deep breath in and breathe out the sensations.

Breathe out the difficult emotions.

Just let it go for now.

Inhaling until you can't possibly inhale anymore.

And exhale,

Let it all go.

Inhale,

Breathing in,

Allowing your belly to just float up.

And exhale,

Just let your belly fall.

Release what no longer serves you.

Now,

I want you to take a moment to notice any pleasant emotions or pleasant sensations.

Allowing these emotions to settle into your heart space.

Letting down your torso into your legs.

Spreading out from your heart space to your arms and hands.

And then up through your neck,

Your shoulders and your head.

Allowing your inner light to shine.

Knowing you are healthy and strong.

Knowing you are safe.

Allowing this feeling of safety to sink into your heart.

Noticing any difficult sensations,

Easing any difficult emotions.

Knowing there is a connection between your difficult emotions and your sensations.

Noticing when you calm your nervous system,

You are honoring your body.

Feeling empowered.

Feeling gratitude for having taken this time out for yourself today.

Taking one last cleansing breath,

Your longest,

Slowest deep breath in you've taken yet today.

And letting it all go.

Coming back into the room with a renewed sense of energy.
