Welcome,

This is your moment to arrive,

To drop in and to reconnect with the incredible body,

The sacred vessel that carries your soul.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat or a lying down position.

Now gently close your eyes,

Soften your shoulders,

And take a deep breath in through the nose.

Slowly exhale out the nostrils.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply through the nose.

Slow,

Steady exhale out the nose.

One more time,

Inhale.

And this time on your exhale,

Gently part the lips,

Sigh the breath out.

Let anything go that does not serve you.

Now bring your attention to your feet.

Notice your toes,

The outside,

The inside of the foot,

The arch,

The heel.

Notice where they meet the earth.

Maybe you can feel the warmth or the coolness beneath you.

Imagine soft roots growing from the soles of your feet,

Reaching down into grandmother earth,

Anchoring you deeply into her steady,

Loving support.

Watch those roots expand until they meet the center of this planet,

Reminding you of your connection to nature and that you belong and that you are sacred.

Now scan your body from bottom to top,

Starting with the feet.

Move from your feet to your ankles,

Across the shins and the calves.

Linger a little longer around your knees.

Bring your attention to your hamstrings and your quads.

As you reach your hips,

Remember this is our emotional junk drawer.

What do you visualize and how can you create more softness,

More peace,

More quiet within the space of your hips?

Now take your awareness to your belly.

Perhaps you place one hand right below the belly button as you feel the rise and the fall that coincides with your breath.

Now bring your awareness to your chest,

Your heart space.

Feeling with every inhale the expansion,

The rising of the heart to come more to the surface as you continue to lead and treat your body with love.

As you exhale,

Feel the back of your heart.

Notice how it falls and how it rests.

Bring your awareness to your shoulders.

Can you draw them a little closer to your sits bones?

Make your way down the arms as you trace the biceps,

The triceps,

Elbows,

The forearms,

Your wrists,

The palms of each hand and every single finger.

From the tips of your finger,

I encourage you to bring your attention to the neck and the throat,

Space of your authentic communication.

From your neck,

Draw your attention to the jaw,

Your cheeks,

The bridge of your nose.

Notice the softness of your eyes,

Forehead,

Landing at the crown,

The top of the head.

Simply notice.

Release any judgment.

This is simply presence.

As you breathe,

I invite you to repeat silently or aloud,

I am safe in my body.

I am grounded.

I am whole.

Let the breath deepen,

Repeating,

I am safe in my body.

I am grounded.

Let this energy settle.

Let it permeate every single cell,

Reminding you,

You truly are safe in your body.

With those roots growing out of your feet,

You are grounded.

And just as you are in this moment and the next and the next,

You truly are whole.

Remembering this,

I invite you to slowly let the corners of your lips move up towards your eyes.

As a gentle smile comes across your face,

Offer silent gratitude to your body for all that it does.

Every breath that it takes,

The food that it digests,

The blink of your eyes,

The renewal of every cell of your skin,

The ability to use your senses,

Offering this gratitude every day.

The way that your sweet,

Perfect body carries you,

Supports you,

And allows you to experience this life.

Whether you're healing,

Rebuilding,

Or thriving,

Your body is always doing its best.

Always.

Now visualize golden light pouring over you from head to toe,

Wrapping you in warmth,

Healing,

And vitality.

Breathe in this golden light.

Let it fill and nourish every cell.

As you exhale,

Let that golden light penetrate each cell deeper,

Filling you from head to toe.

One more breath,

Just like that.

That golden light pouring over you at the top of your head,

Again,

Wrapping you in that warmth,

That healing and vitality.

As you exhale,

Take it deeper into the body.

Now pause.

How do you feel in this moment?

Perhaps a little bit more grounded,

More at ease?

I encourage you to carry this rooted energy with you as you move through your day.

Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and then your toes as you gently open your eyes when you're ready.

And remember,

Your body is a sacred home.

Honor it.

Listen to it.

Love it.
