Take time now to rest back in any comfortable position.
You may wish to momentarily lie down or sit up,
Even stand up and walk around as you invite in now feelings of peace and ease and calm that you can take with you in a few minutes into your day.
Open your senses into this present moment.
The sounds around you,
The touch of air on your skin,
Sensations where your body's touching the surfaces that are providing support.
Letting go of thoughts and thinking and momentarily with your eyes open just let your gaze softly fall on some object out in front of you without thinking about it.
Just a moment of pure perceiving.
Just seeing without going into thinking and let attention settle more and more into your heart or belly as you're doing this.
So you're not just seeing with your eyes but feel like you're seeing from your whole body,
Your heart and your belly.
And if it feels right or when it feels right let the eyes gently close.
Continue to nourish this inner feeling around the heart or belly,
Sensations of peace or ease or well-being.
With each inhalation let your attention settle momentarily in the heart region,
Inviting in feelings of ease or calm,
Peace.
Exhaling,
Feeling them spreading out through the entire body,
Peace,
Ease and well-being.
With each exhalation feel these sensations spreading through the entire body out into the arms and fingers,
Down into the legs,
Feet and toes,
Throughout the torso,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Head and face.
The whole body letting go with each exhalation into feelings of peace,
Ease and calm.
Without going into thinking or thoughts,
Notice where and how you feel these sensations of peace or ease or calm in the body.
Just the sensations of equanimity or well-being,
Jaw soft,
Shoulders at ease.
With each exhalation,
Natural sensations of grounded well-being,
Ease and peace spreading throughout the entire body.
Give yourself completely to these sensations throughout the body.
It's like a deep letting go and surrendering into ease and peace and well-being.
Noticing any lingering feelings or leftover emotions from your day.
Just noticing them for a moment,
Welcoming them perhaps as messengers that are helping you understand is there some conversation you're needing to have,
Some action you're needing to take,
That by taking it deepen you into a feeling of grounded well-being.
If there is an action or a conversation,
Just note it and set it aside and come back with the exhalation nourishing these inner feelings of well-being and equanimity,
Deep peace.
And if there is an action,
A conversation you're needing to take or have,
Just imagine you doing it while feeling this inner sense of grounded ease,
Well-being.
If there are any feelings of stress or unease,
Interweave feelings of well-being and ease in and amidst them.
Shoulders,
Shoulder blades softening,
Jaw and facial muscles soft and at ease,
A sense of grounded well-being throughout the entire body,
Torso,
Legs and feet.
Perhaps setting an intention now to continue coming back to sensations of peace and ease and calm throughout your day,
Vowing to tap into these sensations throughout your day,
Exhalations nourishing feelings of ease and peace in the midst of everything you're doing,
Wherever you are,
Whomever you're with,
Whatever your circumstance.
And as it feels right,
Keep nourishing these inner feelings of peace and ease and calm and let your eyes open,
Looking around your environment while continuing to nourish sensations of grounded well-being,
Calm.
If it feels right,
Let your eyes close and open several times while you continue to nourish these qualities of ease and peace that you can now take with you into your day,
Into all of your activities,
So that in the midst of your day,
They'll come upon you in a moment of conversing or acting.
Feelings of ease and peace and grounded well-being will naturally arise and help you remember this feeling of inner grounded well-being in each moment.
