Welcome to this chakra meditation journey.
You can use this to start your day,
Activated and aligned,
Or you can finish your day,
Cleansing your body and your energetic field from your day.
Or you might wish to use this meditation anytime you just want a few moments to yourself to connect in to cleanse and clear your energetic field.
So make sure you're in a comfortable sacred space free from noise and distractions.
And I invite you to sit on a pillow or a cushion with an extra cushion under your tailbone to slightly tilt you forward so your spine is beautifully straight.
And if sitting up is uncomfortable,
You're welcome to lie down instead.
Just make sure that your spine is straight as this meditation activates the chakras,
Aligns the chakras,
Which are located in the spinal cord.
So it's important that our spine is straight during this meditation.
If you wish to use a few drops of your favorite essential oils to further ground you into the moment,
Feel free to take a few drops in your palms.
Rub your palms together and breathe your hands up to your face.
Inhaling the beautiful scents.
And taking your hands to rest on your knees with the palms face up,
Joining together the index finger and thumb.
And so guiding your awareness down to your root,
The base of your spine.
This is the location of your root chakra,
Mooladhara,
Opening downwards into the earth.
The root chakra vibrates in a beautiful,
Vibrant red and is connected with the element earth.
So as you feel your root chakra opening downwards,
I invite you to breathe in a sense of grounding,
A sense of safety,
A sense of security and a sense of support.
Knowing that Mother Earth is holding you.
Mother Earth is supporting you.
You are always safe.
And so feeling beautiful golden roots descending down from the base of your spine,
Down into the earth.
Like roots of a tree.
These roots ground you,
They hold you firm in place.
They nourish you.
So allow yourself to feel safe.
To feel supported.
Held by Mother Earth.
Inhaling the energy up to your lower belly.
The sacral chakra,
Svadhisthana,
Vibrating in a beautiful orange.
This chakra opens forward to the front and is connected with the element water.
Our sacral chakra is our seat of desire,
Of creativity,
Of creation and of emotion.
It's connected to the element water,
So we find fluidity,
We find flow.
And we find our ability to express our emotions.
So know that all of your emotions are valid.
You're safe to feel and express all of your emotions.
And your desires are beautiful.
Everything you desire,
Your sensuality,
Your sexuality,
It's all beautiful.
And we connect to our ability to create.
To create and birth new things into the world.
Thoughts,
Ideas,
Projects,
Creations.
So breathe in and out of your lower belly.
And feel all of this.
And inhaling the energy up to the solar plexus,
Manipura chakra.
Located above the belly button at the lower end of the ribs.
This chakra opens forwards and vibrates in a beautiful fiery yellow.
At our solar plexus,
We find our courage,
Our empowerment,
Our action,
Our confidence.
At our solar plexus,
We find our fire.
And the solar plexus is connected with the element fire.
So I invite you to feel your strength.
Feel the energy of your passion.
And allow that to fuel your fire,
This fire burning in your belly.
Feel it.
Feel your own strength.
Feel your ability to create,
To take action.
To take action on your creations,
On your ideas.
To not only have ideas,
But to take the action steps,
The empowered action steps.
To bring them into reality.
So use this fire.
Feel this fire.
Feel it burning bright inside you.
As you breathe in and out of the solar plexus.
This fiery energetic center.
Breathing the energy up to the heart,
Anahata.
Vibrating in the color green or rose.
Heart is our center for unconditional love,
Compassion,
Kindness,
Forgiveness,
Acceptance.
The heart is connected with the element air and so intimately connected with your breath.
So breathe through your heart in this moment.
Breathe in and out of your heart and allow yourself to receive the unconditional love you seek.
Receiving this unconditional love from your divine self.
Fill yourself up with the love of the divine.
The divine universal part of you.
And allow your heart to guide kind thoughts about yourself and others.
Kind actions,
Kind words.
Holding yourself and others in compassion,
In forgiveness,
In acceptance.
Allowing this love to overcome all else.
Breathing this love through your body.
And inhaling the energy up to your throat.
The throat chakra vibrating in a beautiful turquoise blue.
Vishuddhi chakra.
The throat is connected with the element air and at our throat we learn to communicate,
To speak our truth,
To let our voice be heard.
To communicate the desires of our heart,
The desires of our sacral chakra.
To communicate our fire and to communicate it with love.
So feel the energy at your throat.
Feel this turquoise blue ball of energy at your throat.
And give yourself permission to speak,
To speak up,
To let your voice be heard.
To say what you think,
To say what you feel,
To ask for what you want.
To say what you need.
And doing so with the love of your heart,
The compassion and the kindness of your heart.
And can you feel the desire of your throat to speak,
To sing,
To make noise.
So breathe in and out of the throat.
Take a gentle constriction of your throat and feel your ujjayi breath.
Allow this breath to energize your throat.
And inhale the energy up to your third eye,
The space between the eyebrows.
Ajna chakra,
Third eye chakra.
Vibrating in the color indigo blue and connected with the element light.
At the third eye,
We find our ability to see with clarity.
To see the real from the unreal and to see beyond what the physical eyes can see.
At the third eye,
We're connected to our own intuition,
Our own inner wisdom.
And we find that clarity of thought,
No longer clouded by the perception of the mind.
We see things as they are.
See the real from the unreal.
Experience life as it is.
So breathe into this space between your eyebrows.
And can you breathe light into your mind,
Clarity into your mind.
Clearing the distortion that lives there.
Clearing the thoughts.
The old patterns,
Old beliefs.
Shining light on the mind.
Take a deep breath into the third eye.
And a long breath out.
Breathing the energy up to the crown,
The tip of your head.
The crown chakra,
Sahasrara chakra.
Vibrating in beautiful violet and pure white rays of light.
At our crown,
We connect to the divine,
To the cosmos,
To the heavens,
To our universal self,
Our divine self.
It is said that atop the crown chakra,
A thousand petaled lotus spins.
So guide all of your awareness,
All of your energy to this lotus on the tip of your head.
And open your crown to receiving divine knowledge,
Divine wisdom,
Divine love.
And as you receive this energy as pure white rays of light,
Feel your crown chakra start to open.
And so you not only receive this divine light,
This divine energy,
But you also emit it.
So at the crown of your head,
Like a fountain,
Light and energy radiates out.
And so as you move through the rest of your day or your evening,
Feel yourself shrouded in this energy.
Feel it all around you.
Absorb it into every cell in your body.
And feel your own divinity.
