Welcome to this evening meditation.
This meditation is best done before you fall asleep and will allow you to feel really relaxed and have a wonderful deep sleep.
And through this meditation,
I will repeat some affirmations and as I say them,
Allow yourself to repeat them in your mind.
Doing affirmations before sleep is so,
So powerful and allows you to move them into the subconscious mind and store them deep into your body as if they were true.
So if you haven't already,
Lie down somewhere comfortable and start to settle the body and close your eyes and really notice how your body feels in this moment.
Start taking a few deep breaths,
Breathing in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose and sigh out the mouth.
And one more,
Inhale through the nose and sigh out the mouth.
Really allow yourself to let go,
To fully surrender into this moment.
Allow your body to become heavier and heavier.
And feel that support of the ground below you.
Know that you are fully safe in this moment as you prepare to rest,
As you prepare to sleep tonight.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head and I'll gently take you through a body scan allowing your body to feel more and more relaxed.
Start to bring your awareness to your forehead,
To your eyes,
Your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your mouth,
Your chin.
Allow your face to soften.
Relax your jaw.
Feel the back of your head,
The back of your neck,
The front of your neck,
Your throat,
Your shoulders,
Your chest.
Allow yourself to soften.
Your arms,
Your forearms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Bring your awareness to your stomach,
Your hips,
Your spine,
Your back.
Feel your back against the ground below you,
Your pelvic area,
Your legs,
The top of your legs,
Your knees down into your shins,
Your calf muscles,
And all the way down into your feet,
Down into your toes.
Allow your body to just let go,
To fully surrender.
You're becoming so relaxed and feeling so ready to have a wonderful sleep.
And I'll now repeat some mantras,
Some affirmations,
And as I say them,
Allow yourself to repeat them in your mind.
