What's up Phoenix's and welcome to day two of your 21 day meditation.
In this meditation we are going to be working with surrender.
How to fully surrender.
So before we get started I want you to find yourself in a nice comfortable position whether you're lying down,
Cross legged or have your feet on the ground.
Make sure you're in a comfortable position for the next 20 minutes or so.
So just taking a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
And as you do this just feel yourself beginning to fully relax.
And just stay present with the breath in through the nose out through the mouth.
And just take a moment and notice what part of you feels tense right now.
Is it your heart?
Is it your chest?
Maybe you have some tension in your throat.
Wherever it is focus on that area of your body and just breathe into it.
In through the nose out through the mouth.
And as you do that notice the lightness that is created from the breath.
Just starting from the top of your head just relax your forehead,
Relax your eyes,
Your face.
Just imagine the back of your head just relaxing.
It's like this beautiful melting sensation,
This warmth.
Coming down your chest over your shoulders.
Just imagine this warmth that's just melting over your body like warm butter.
Feeling so comfortable,
So held.
And as this sensation travels your body just becomes more and more relaxed through your stomach.
Just relax your stomach with so much tension in our stomach.
Breathe into that part.
Really relaxing your hips,
Front of thighs,
Back of thighs,
Through the legs,
Into the feet.
So your entire body just feels so relaxed.
Just notice this warmth,
Notice this temperature,
This warm temperature that's just feeling so comfortable,
So safe.
And just notice what that feels like.
Again just breathing into the parts of you that feel tense.
We spend so much of our lives trying to control,
Trying to manipulate,
Trying to fix people,
Situations,
Whatever it is.
We're under this illusion that we are in control and that's not the truth.
We are not in control of anything.
For some that may be a terrifying thought but it is the truth.
We are not in control and when we learn to surrender rather than white-knuckle our way through life,
We begin to come into alignment with our souls.
We get to feel into what feels good and what does not feel good.
And rather than being addicted to outcomes or the way things should be,
We get to surrender and just move into the direction that feels best for us,
Moving into expansion.
And so when we can stop controlling our food,
Stop controlling the way things need to be,
We get to move into a place of surrender and trust.
Control is such a big part of our relationship with food.
So when we control our food and we restrict it,
Then we're going to overeat because that's a natural reaction to deprivation and to restriction.
But when we can release the control,
Release the counting and the calories and we can just operate on felt sense,
Operating from a place of health and hunger,
We get to move into a place where we feel more in alignment,
More connected to our highest self.
And therefore our bodies get to a place that is most natural and comfortable for them.
So I want you to hold on to the mantra,
I am fully supported.
I am fully supported.
Our brains operate from a place of lack and limitation.
There's so much more that is going on that is beyond logic,
It's beyond the conscious mind.
There's a divine plan,
A divine unfolding that we're all a part of.
We're all a part of.
And rather than fighting this force that's already predestined.
We get to relax,
Surrender and flow with it.
And our bodies,
Our intuition,
Our indicators of the path,
Leaning into the things that feel good,
Saying no to the things that do not.
And when we can dance with the energy of surrender and we're not in control constantly,
We get to flow easier.
We get to be in that energy that feels effortless.
Because what we know to be true is we're not in control of anything except for how we show up emotionally.
We can take full responsibility of showing up as the highest best and most authentic versions of who we are and the rest we get to surrender.
I just want you to take a few moments here,
Just repeating the mantra silently to yourself,
I am fully supported.
And just feeling the support,
Feeling the support of your body,
Yourself,
Your higher self,
The universe,
God,
Whatever word feels best for you.
And just feel what that feels like,
Feel what that energy feels like through you and around you.
I am supported.
I want you to take a moment and just look at your life right now and just ask yourself,
If I was to surrender a little bit more in the areas of my life,
What would that look like?
What would that feel like?
If I was just to relinquish control a little bit,
What would that look like with my relationship with food?
What would that look like with my relationship to my body?
What would that look like with my relationship to money?
With these areas,
I want you just to notice what happens in your body.
Just ask yourself,
How do I want to feel when I think about food,
My body,
Money,
Relationships?
What's the energy that I want to feel when I'm in a relationship with these things?
Because that's all it is,
Is relationships.
What would it look like to be surrendered in all your relationships?
Trusting the flow,
Trusting the unfolding,
Trusting that you're held,
Trusting that you're fully supported because you are.
You're fully supported to relax.
You're fully supported to let go.
You're fully supported to surrender,
Surrender into your body,
Surrender into the unknown.
The unknown gets to be a place of excitement and opportunity,
Not fear.
You are so supported to feel.
You're so supported to surrender.
You're so supported to just be.
Just take a moment and just be here in this moment.
Just repeating to yourself,
I am fully supported.
I am fully supported.
Now just deepening your breath,
Taking three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And bringing your awareness back into the space,
Back into the room,
Moving your hands and your toes,
Feeling the lightness of your heart,
Blinking open your eyes,
Looking around the room,
Just noticing the beauty,
Being grateful for the position that you're in right now to do this practice,
Taking a moment and honoring yourself for doing this practice.
And just bring a smile to your face,
Bring your hands up to your heart and then repeat the mantra one more time.
I am fully supported.
Have a beautiful day.
We'll see you tomorrow.
